It boggles my mind how this topic is completely botched by both sides of the argument.
Yes, normies know how passwords work and they could use nsecs the same way. Its retarded to hear devs make up shitty fake google logins to solve it.
On the other hand, you really said users can put their nsec in a PW manager. PW managers are the preferred method for normies, but none of them have ever entered a password into a PW manager. You can't throw a 256 bit nsec at a users face and tell them to save it somehow. No normie has ever dealt with a permanent PW that they didn't set themselves. Most normies don't know what a PW manager is if you asked them, even though they use it every day.
The very obvious solution is to trigger the PW manager yourself and its insane to me that every nostr app doesn't do this already.
On mobile you have native functions on both ios and android to prompt a save password to the users OS default PW manager. Do this when generating or pasting a key.
On web, you don't have a function, but browser PW managers grab onto form inputs of type password, on submission. When you create a user an nsec, you need to create an invisible form, fill in the PW field with the nsec, and submit it programmatically. Ask your favorite clanker fren and he will happily implement this for you into a self contained utility function.
It boggles my mind that people make up stupid ass excuses or shitty backup schemes to cater to normies instead of the existing PW manager that every OS and browser has already.
But the dilemma is Bitcoiners like to claim Bitcoin is decentralized, when clearly that isn’t the case, or if it is the case then there’s room to clearly improve.
I agree that tools like BitAxe, NerdMiners, etc. are a potential solution to the problem.

But my quoting of your note is a compilation of the many issues with what Bitcoin needs to improve to be a functional currency.
I understand the tradeoffs arguments for why they exist but I think a notable amount of those tradeoffs are unoptimized.
I like Bitcoin but it clearly needs a major revamp/overhaul to be useful for day to day life.

Best advice is: Learn by doing, and remember that it’s a process! You are literally ‘building soil’. It takes time and there is no such thing as perfect.
As a beginner, keep things simple. Focus on the crops that perform best in your specific area and those you most enjoy eating. They will offer the highest reward for least effort.
Grow things like peas or other legumes for nitrogen fixation on a rotating basis in different beds. On a small scale it can be tough to experiment with cover cropping per se, but you can always incorporate clover (for example in pathways), and plant winter rye (for organic matter and green mulch) when it’s time to shut down beds at the end of the season. Also intercropping things like nasturtium, marigold, chives, etc that attract beneficial insects and pollinators and also repel some pests.
Wood chips (in paths or at garden edges) are a (free!) source of high quality organic matter and breakdown quickly into excellent compost. They also help promote moisture retention and invite fungi which breakdown garden wastes and provide nutrients directly to the plants (mycorrhizae).
Think of how things work in nature and try to mimic or ‘promote’ natural processes, rather than trying to control or work against them.
