Does anyone else's Claude (or equivelant) overuse the word "honest"? Example: "Here's the honest answer to your question..."
Mine does this all day every day in almost every response and I actually find it ironically unsettling. One should not have to profess ones honesty. The fact that you do, implies its opposite. #ai #agentic
New member of the family. Couldn't convince my wife to opt for a second EV but this'll do nicely. It's got the modern features, even if it does run on an archaic fossil fuel engine.

Primal's constant nagging of me to pay for it inspired me to start writing my own #Nostr client and man, is it looking great!

So this is not my first Nostr-utilizing tool but it is my first Nostr project made public because it might be useful. I'd love some folks to poke holes in it for me. This is a syncthing-like that uses a #Blossom server (minimal one included) and #nostr relay to sync a folder across a series of devices.
I even tried to make it agent-friendly so your #ai agent can install it for you from the repo.

After a long and in-depth conversation and a bunch of research into Nostr via Claude about Nostr I'm basically satisfied that Nostr is a flawed idea, and I'm not sure it has any future. But that only makes me really determined to talk to the really smart people who I know are still building it. There must be a reason why people still believe in the idea over something like ActivityPub.

I don't know how I didn't understand this but for the longest time I thought I was posting to Nostr and anyone on Nostr was seeing it. If I understand the protocol now, nobody sees it unless they happen to overlap with the relay I posted to.
The fundamental question about #Blossom for me is the question of who pays for storage if large redundancies of binary blobs could be passed around and theoretically stored forever. What stops the abuse of someone uploading an encrypted blob containing a backup of their entire PC? From the reading I've been doing it's just the idea that you might be kind enough to run your own relay for the purposes of this storage... but it's a relay. It doesn't end there.
