To be fair I’ve only been twice about 15 years apart, but I really enjoyed my time last I was there. It was a short trip and mainly stayed around the loop, so maybe that skewed my perspective. Had some great food, walked the pier, did a river tour at sunset, and took in a cubs game.

New Acting FDA Commissioner: Some Florida Lawyer That Shoots Animals With Don Jr.
I assume at one point America was a serious big boy country, but we are certainly not that any longer. You can get examples of the unserious nature of our government in spades, of course, but I’m just going to keep hammering on what is going on at HHS and its child agencies as the prime example. With the recent [resignation][1] of Marty Makary as FDA Commissioner, the country is left without Senate confirmed commissioners for the FDA, CDC, as well as Surgeon General. This is because of a combination of RFK Jr. being incapable of hiring any normies for those roles combined with the Trump administration’s general apathy towards doing the business of government. It’s a clown show, currently resting on the shoulders of acting commissioners in these roles.
Which isn’t to say that the clownery hasn’t infected those acting commissioner appointments as well. It absolutely has. And you need look no further [than the new acting FDA Commissioner][2] to see that.

While a great deal of attention has been paid to Diamantas’ brief role defending Planned Parenthood in one legal case, which he claims he eventually got out of over his moral objections to the organization, his more salient work history was his legal defense of Abbott Laboratories for selling harmful baby formula and the tobacco industry. He spent a decade doing his lawyerly work before being appointed acting deputy commissioner of human food at the FDA last year. There he dabbled in a little conflict of interest by being in charge of reviewing infant formula safety, given his past legal work defending the industry, and embraced the whole MAHA movement.
So what else qualifies Diamantas for that role, or his new role running the larger FDA? Nothing, that’s what. Nothing at all, other than being Don Jr.’s pal. The real government, it seems, was the friends we made along the way.
And so we have another nepo-appointment in the Trump administration, but this one is responsible for food and drug safety across the entire country. I’m sure there’s nothing that will go wrong as a result.

they both did. The comment above makes the mistake of thinking this is multi-signature.
It is NOT, it is a single signature, created by 2 separate private keys working together (I ran a stress test, and it takes a couple of seconds to do it with 500 keypairs into 1 signature (not accounting for coordination))
There is no way to tell (well...bruteforcing it i guess), other than that the kind:0 of this account has tags that tell you that it is a musig2 pubkey and who is part of it, which you can then verify to be true.

I've been listening to Christian radio recently. But it's not as if I agree with them or anything, baka!
Some athiests say that Christians only ever do the right thing because they are afraid of going to hell, not because they care about being good and competent peopl or about living a fulfilling life. And some Christians say that athiests only ever do good deeds because they are blindly mimicking the culture they grew up in, not because they care about or are able to listen to what Jesus calls them to do.
But these positions are obviously ridiculous! If two groups of people are doing exactly the same thing then you should assume they are doing it for similar reasons!
By observing carefully what actions a person is trying to justify with their language, you gain a piece of insight into the fundamental meaning of their words, rather than just the words' literal dictionary definition. When you start to figure out which parts of someone else's speech are analogous to what other parts of your own speech, you can unlock whole new modes of speech and communication. For example, I believe I can meaningfully contribute to Christian theology, even though its foundation is obviously wrong.
In fact, while internally translating a radio preacher, I realized that his inter-church arguments were actually a direct insult against ME! He was calling me a Legalist and explaining why that's bad. It was such a unique and beautiful insult and I'm thankful to have been subjected to it.
"You cannot live a fulfilling life simply by avoiding behavior that goes against human nature, as if it's just a set of laws to avoid breaking in order to be a perfect person. The fact is that every human falls short of their highest nature in one way or another. When a person's life lacks fulfilment, it's not necessarily a matter of not following enough laws, but rather its a matter of not doing enough to serve your purpose OUTSIDE of legal rules..."
I don't know how offended I should be when the offered solution to this kind of problem is to "just pray about it", but I'll have to be ready to whip the insult out to use against someone else if I ever notice the opportunity.

Several weeks ago I had to go to a farm to do a photographic job and being in that place I saw some impressive cows and bulls they were gigantic and for that reason they caught my attention so I decided to get closer to take some photos.
