Thank me later.
lol, am sick and opening nostr is exhausting. Still, I mustered the energy to pile on
I'm sure the platform is shit technically but I thought the last gen Intel CPUs were much better value than amd?
Things that make me believe people are fundamentally good:
Neighbors who water someone’s plants while they’re away.
Strangers who sincerely applaud a street performer.
People who remember how you take your coffee.
People who adopt elderly animals, already knowing their time together will be short.
People who keep loving after they’ve been hurt.
People who plant trees knowing they may never sit in their shade.
People who teach something for free because, one day, someone did the same for them.
The stubborn desire to begin again. Despite everything.
Maybe human goodness isn’t spectacular.
Maybe it lives mostly in small, repeated, almost invisible things.

That's amazing thanks guys. I was begging one of your "competitors" for quite a while already to do something similar. Thanks for building this. Looks like soon I can go PPQ only 💪

📰 **The eCash Rebellion Forces Bitcoin to Confront Its Oldest Schism**
✍️ by Madrid
A veteran Bitcoin developer has declared war on the network ossification he helped create. His weapon is a hard fork that weaponizes Satoshi Nakamoto own coins. The community calls it theft. He calls it the only path forward. What happens next will define Bitcoin for a decade.

I use AI in my legal work and it helps a lot. But what you're pointing at matters more — technology should serve human connection, not compete with it.
We need a new name: zapalittlewithlargeamounts
we're gonna need to do an onchain zapathon then. zapathons proved that zaps were fun.

"People learned because it was useful. "
Maybe we are making the wrong assumption, that this is actually useful. Or it is but for a tiny minority.

We need...
I'm on the side of America...
Don't say this is fascism <cry face>
Verdade.

Conflating 'maintaining Nostr' with 'adding Monero/other token on an app' = "maintaining an app" is disingenuous, at best.
Even historically in the crypto space it has worked the same way.
Eg:
Q: You're the Polkadot ecosystem and want EVM compatibility with Ethereum?
A: Polkadot community builds the bridge.
Copy-pasta for Cosmos, Terra, Solana, Thorchain, NEAR, etc ecosystems.
Why is Monero (or any other token) the exception, is beyond me.
Harassing Nostr client makers to integrate it instead of forking the Nosmero piece into an open source git that some other client could readily integrate, if Amethyst hasn't already, for example, is a great start.
But all the Monero community has is this holier-than-thou attitude and the only thing they're actually good at is dissing. Dissing a client, dissing another token like Bitcoin, dissing an entire country like Iran coz "Monero bros know best", etc. Seen some ridiculous posts off late.
Shame.
Buy the token, ignore the community.

if you want it. build it.
if you want to keep it. support it.
if you want it to go away. ignore it.
only in software does this work.

Throughout my life, I never really sat down to study politics in depth. Whenever I had the time, I preferred to spend my energy learning about things that genuinely interested me.
Rather than focusing on political theory, I chose to listen to people. Properly listen. Without immediately turning everything into a “side”, a “team”, or an ideology.
Over time, I developed some more libertarian leanings, while other views changed completely, but I always tried to keep a certain emotional distance from political tribalism. These days, I honestly cannot live as though politics has to be the moral centre of human existence.
I do not hate the world, nor do I look down on knowledge. I simply do not want to turn my life into a permanent conflict between groups that increasingly behave like rival religions.
A lot of people who consume large amounts of political theory actually become less open to others, not more. They stop listening to understand and start listening only to categorise: “this one is liberal”, “this one is Marxist”, “this one is conservative”, “this one is ignorant”. The person disappears and only the label remains.
Maybe that is naïve. Maybe it is simply exhaustion. Either way, I would rather continue trying to understand real people than live trapped inside a political identity.
