People like us are so few that we simply can't move the needle in a meaningful way without attracting more resources (likely from people who don't think like us).
It could be the case that we indirectly benefit from the good advancements and attract people to fill in the gaps we want filled. After all, there's likely a lot of overlap in non-privacy/security work. We'd still get that other stuff.

Well, I don't see how we'd have a diverse and thriving developer environment for a thing almost no one uses. I think that's the point some of them are trying to make (and do something about).
Ironically, supporting these devs could attract more users, more funding, and more developers who actually agree with us (I'm assuming we agree on many things, but at least these items).
As it stands, there are very few incentives for people to develop here outside of OpenSats. That's a problem in my opinion.

I discovered a new (to me) marketing/sales deception.
For example, packaging that has 10mg and 100 gummies on the main label. You have to read supplement facts label on the back to find that the serving size is two 5mg gummies.
In what fucking universe is there any excuse for this other than deception? Why does the front label contain 10mg at all if not to make people think they are getting 100 10mg gummies? If you want 10mg, you actually only get 50 gummies.
Shit has gotten so out of hand.
