I had to help a friend out the other day who had a Ledger Nano S with a dead screen. He’s probably used the thing all of 5 times since be bought it, to set up his keys and withdraw from an exchange. The last time he had made a transaction with it was 3 years ago. Of course, because Ledger hardware is cheap garbage, he couldn’t even turn it on anymore. I let him borrow my old unused Nano and was able to help him verify his balances are still there. Now he’s got a Blockstream Jade on order.
Make sure you’re checking up on anyone you’ve helped get set up over the years. Chances are, they haven’t kept up with any advances and haven’t even plugged in their devices to run firmware updates. I had to remind my friend that his coins weren’t on the Ledger at all, and that his seed phrase was the only thing that mattered.

Is there a nip for that or is it implemented only in that app? One constraint I have is not needing to query any external services during authorization. If we have to do some tracking of key revocations or anything like that, then it’ll be impossible for us to accommodate. I haven’t looked at any sample code yet, so just asking for now
