A beautiful spam-free block by @npub1ehr…qsdz that got over half a Bitcoin in fees alone. To match the same fee revenue, a cartel mining pool will need to mine at least 25 spam filled blocks.
There’s now over 240,000 txs in the backlog of the BIP-110 chain tip. Fees and txs keep piling up, waiting for an opportunistic miner with large enough hash to come and take them. The next few days may become interesting. 🧐

i had an idea of something i called nostrscript before all these bip110 arguments. during knots vs core.
like people wanna have dns, nfts etc, but they wanna abuse bitcoin's double spend check protocol to abuse immutable nature of it.
so i wanted design a protocol that stores the data with nostr protocol and anchor it to bitcoin timechain by aggregating them into a single hash, and also limiting number of anchors with pow.
the protocol itself is also designed to isolate script states with cleaver dependency graphs. so dns people don't have to download nfts and etc.
whole protocol, no matter how many people using it on average would create single sha256 hash per block on average.
even payments were being done with lightning, so no other onchain overhead.
i thought the fact its using lightning would make it easier to access, and would starve other malicious protocols.

A disappointing article. They should feel ashamed to publish rubbish like that.
We can probably trust Bluesky numbers as the data itself is public. But X? It's a private company and they can report whatever. Elon is just a liar and should be treated as such. Threads on the other hand might be reporting true numbers due to being a public company but I wouldn't trust them context-wise. We know for instance that they pulled in a lot of Instagram users which accounted for the initial seed of 2.5M users. If my memory serves me well. So the quantity might not translate into quality.
The whole pressure to have as many users as possible is dumb. You need a solid userbase. Not a large userbase. Unless your goal is to sell as many ads as possible. But we've been there before and we ended with a dumpster fire.

also this is elementary stuff but other plants and some kinds of animals are often far better pest controls.
you gotta be careful. one thing that is an easy work around is to ask it a few times, in different sessions. or even ask other robots. and ask detailed questions. asking "how do i kill weeds" is a pretty dumb question when you mean "how do i kill weeds that are crowding out my corn?"
