I think the most important thing about privacy is setting the right expectations. When you send a 1:1 text or email, you naturally expect it to be between two people. Some of the more technical crowd realizes it’s not the case, but the majority of the population does not. It’s almost comical, but maybe adding “THIS COMMUNICATION IS NOT PRIVATE” to all methods that are not provably private would do the trick. 🤷🏼♂️

I don’t want to be clicking links with tracking parameters in them.
The thing about metrics like this is that it doesn’t actually what is supposed to be measuring.
In a way things have gotten both cheaper, and more expensive.
Wages haven’t kept pace with inflation because if they did, I think most would not notice inflation.
But then there’s also monetary, and supply.
Housing for example have increase due to zoning restrictions meanwhile tvs are cheaper.
Yes, life is more expensive but there’s multiple factors besides just inflation to blame.
