...by which I do not mean "I know what everyone is thinking or feeling," I only mean, I am familiar with what those worldviews teach. I don't claim omniscience on what any individual thinks or feels. But I do claim that the only omnicient one has spoken to us in a language that we can understand so that we can know what is True--as in True Truth. He even walked among us, lived as one of us (yet without sin), and told us again what is true. He then overcame death to prove his divinity--thus ensuring his trustworthiness to speak with authority. It is not arrogance to think this--I am not the source of this, only one of billions of 'receivers' of this truth--it is humility. It takes humility to hear that we are not the center of the universe, that our word is not authoritative, and we are subject to the word and interpretation of our Creator (and Redeemer). Some will hear it, some will not. It's my hope that all will hear it.
