Ive hear people talk about how more implementations are better. I can see how from the outset that would appear good. But it is not without its own issues. Every parallel implementation must agree on concensous. That means for every implementation, a concensous change becomes harder to coordinate between the implementations. Satoshi actually warned about this. USAF becomes much harder when 5 implementations must all make sure their software is implementing the rules the same way and that they are all signalling appropriately. Concensous cleanup is really good and helps. Something like BTCD that splits out the wallet is even better. Damn we're still early as fuck...
