I do have an Apple device and use the reader function in Safari (and Firefox).
In this case, I was very busy and had no time to fool around with it when it blocked me and demanded that I turn off my ad blocker 😅
I just tried it again and had to be quick hitting the reader icon before the ad blocker notification popped up.
