As humans it’s always so tempting to find people to idolise. It’s a cognitive expediency trait that can be abused. I guess it’s also because it’s easier to defer to someone else’s confidence/conviction than to develop our own framework of ideas to stand for..
If we don’t stand for anything, we’d fall for everything. Always be prepared to your heroes, metaphorically of course.
