The State DOES have the authority to police and legislate, however, you are blaming the apparatus created to protect us from corruption. Even in your own words, you say it’s the corporation, the profit seeking motive that the pharmaceutical company uses to corrupt the politicians. Therefore, unknowingly and correctly you agree that the State is not inherently corrupt.
Wage theft is systemic. A owning class and a worker class is what’s systemically exploiting people and environment. Your journey is exactly where I was 6 to 7 years ago before I let go. I let go of the negative stigma brainwashed into me about socialism, communism, and worker cooperatives…started studying it the way I did capitalism. Once you have that epiphany, there is no turning back.
