the real error in all this with bip-110 is in that itself. it doesn't need approval from any committee. the protocol lets us route around it. we can create a solution that both does what bip-110 does (which doesn't even need approval, it's client side) as well as implementing a credible alternative to using taproot while gaining schnorr signature compactness and a new address type.
i will tone down the "everyone is stupid" rhetoric and just say "you can just do this"
