Only when you cut? I can't see how jackfruit would be similar to meat.... Perhaps it's a different species. The ones we have here, they are too sweet to taste like meat. They are more like bananas, but perhaps the raw/unripe ones might have a meaty-like taste when cooked (I think they cook them in some Asian countries) but I can't put it in the same box as meat! :-))
