It goes both ways for sure. I caught her about to tear into an 18 hour worse than doing nothing unless you finish job with places to be in an hour just a couple of days before that.
It also puts it on you to try to learn self regulation because if you're disregulated you'll never be able to help, more likely to be an added burden. Like by starting something you can't finish leaving a mess that causes even more future disregulation for both of you.
