So information theory has a point relevant to this. Ever notice some languages seem fast and some seem slow to listen to? The effect is caused by native speakers of different languages speaking at different syllable per minute rates.
Here is where it gets interesting. Different languages encode different amounts of bits of information per syllable of spoken language. When you rate spoken language by bits per minute it seems we all talk at the same rate globally.
The going assumption is that hints at a limitation of the human brain to process spoken language at speed.

I care way too much about my pens and pencils for how much I use them. Though, I got a Kuru Toga 0.3mm mechanical pencil and I like writing with it so much I may have finally got paper todo lists and journaling to stick as a hobby. Maybe the habit will spread.

Do not run your node OS on a microSD. That is a recipe for failure, literally. MicroSD doesn't handle lots of write cycles well and OS drives get lots of small writes. You can use a real drive over USB on a raspberry pi and it doesn't know the difference.
If you insist on ignoring me, please at least spring for a drone video rated microSD.

My favorite flashlight is my dimmest flashlight, it doesn't even have a high mode. My second favorite flashlight is the flashlight that on dim is the 2nd dimmest flashlight I own. The most annoying thing about the 2nd favorite is that I have to cycle through high to get to dim. It has been this way since I stopped owning any incandescent flashlights many years ago. How fine a particulate filter? I use a lifestraw in my camper and it was dead slow. Got a 5 micron on the water coming into the camper and the lifestraw went from a drop a second to a steady stream.

Firefox says they patched 271 zero day flaws in the latest release thanks to Mythos.

I think the distinction matters.
A man who has nothing right now can't hurt you without immoral actions. He has nothing to offer but the absence of his violence.
After he has rebuilt his life, he can do no wrong and hurt you. He has value now that he adds to the people around him. That gives him the option to hurt you by simply taking his ball and going home. He takes his value away and focuses it on those who he feels deserve it. He can even choose to keep it entirely to himself.
If you have become dependent on that value, that is a risk for you. Since he is willing to go back to nothing if you aren't the risk is asymmetric.

This reminds me of a woman I saw recently say that the scariest men are the men who lost everything then just turned inward and without ever seeing a shrink or any guidance just rebuilt themselves into someone new.
I don't *think* she meant scary in the predator sense. She described them as being immovable by others because they now know who they are and what they want out of life and they knew that they can continue in that direction with or without anyone else.
I don't fully agree, but my philosophy places high value on quality human connections. Only those who don't bring that quality would be at risk of being placed outside the circle and losing their place.

While away from home my server crapped out and needed a hard reboot. That meant no more system wide ad blocking and none of my self hosted services the whole time I was gone.
Smart enough to learn from my mistakes. Home Assistant is not on my proxmox server. So I added a remote control plug to my HA setup that can power cycle my server. Now I can hopefully restore operation remotely.

I have relatives whose only contact for decades has been asking if I forgive them yet every few years.
In all that time it has never occurred to them to even fake an apology.
I think I've said I'm sorry to my kids more times this week than I heard from parents and grandparents combined in my life.
As for me, I understand that society was not equipped to deal with children like me back then. I'm still not going to just let people who still treat me like they did back then back into my life today.

Quantum computer, desktop calculator, pc, phone they all work in binary. They may hide it from you but the real work they do is always binary.
That means that you can't apply decimal math to understanding scale differences inside a computer. It is intuitive to you, but you will be wrong.
Short version, decimal math is inappropriate to use here and will arrive at incorrect answers.

The computer doesn't care about decimal. Each additional bit doubles the possible space, 0 or 1. The decimal being 3x is irrelevant. We added 1 bit which means double the possible binary space to search to find the right answer.

Brain fart. 4 digit pins are 14 bits not 4, mixing up cached math from my other posts. Still I don't think your math checks out because a standard padlock is also 4 digits aka 14 bits. 15 bits would be twice as hard not 3 times as hard as 14.

A 4 digit pin is 14 bits. Bitcoin is 256 bits. Quantum computers have had 25 years from when they first factored 15, not 15 bits the integer 15 storable in 4 bits, and still can't factor the integer 21.
I think the fall of tradfi will give us plenty of advanced warning.
