I'd also like to see a society where you study archaeology (biology/social sciences/astrophysics/linguistics) if you're genuinely interested in learning about archaeology (biology/social sciences/astrophysics/linguistics) and want to contribute to human knowledge of the subject, rather having to study something you don't really want to and accumulating debt in order to get a job in a bank or company. But a society where learning more about the world is valued, even if you don't personally understand the importance or appeal of what the person is learning, is always a good thing
