In Louisiana we have parishes instead of counties. The parish I live in has roughly 1/4 million folks in it.
I just got off the phone with a fella who, not only worked in the building where my office is 50ish years ago for the man whose family still owns the building, but is ALSO the neighbor of my 2 oldest kiddos' grandparents.
