Again, this is all that matters, we already have the rock solid censorship resistance and long term security figured out on L1... Once you have that the ONLY thing that matters is the longevity and sustainability of the second layers, and there is nothing more sustainable and resilient than a Sidechains which can adjust to the market demand or wind down entirely but very slowly and safely that users don't even notice anything.
Can we stop making servers for money and build sidechains exclusively now? The UX is trash otherwise folks.
immediately after the BCH split the BTC community started tolerating way more infrastructure that can be easily shut off and central points of failure. almost as if all the people who actually gave a shit about that had departed from the community. now you've got stuff that users see and touch just not working anymore because it relied on something centralized that got shut off.
