evidence for taraweeh (and many other sunnan) are really just interpretation which again comes down to a logical framework. and no, if you've read any of my religious posts this year you know i don't buy the sahabah are the best alqeeda.
and i'm not disagreeing with you on asharis (though Ghazali did pen a silly fatwa calling Aristotelian philosophers kafr which is ironically kinda the root of the poison in this discussion), i might disagree with them personally as well but i don't think they are entirely wrong in their logic either and i know they don't believe or intend to be going against the Quran.
personally i came to islam via philosophy. reading the Quran many months later was only a confirmation of what i had already rationally understood from first principles. and i think it is important to recognize that this is how islam historically has spread. dawah in particular must come from a place of being able to have a dialogue with other religions and the foundation for this has been the greek philosophical tradition. otherwise you are stuck in polemic debates which aid no one but your nafs.
