I think the idea is quite fragile.
Local communities already have tools that work immediately and with almost zero friction, like WhatsApp or Telegram. Asking people to adopt Nostr just to read neighborhood or school updates introduces extra complexity without a clear benefit.
Also, if the concept is that it becomes “the app you’re forced to use”, that’s usually a bad sign. Platforms grow when people want to open them, not when they feel they have to.
Another issue is that Nostr is interesting precisely because it’s an open network. Turning it into many closed community silos removes one of its main strengths. Features like zaps also make much more sense in an open ecosystem where people and content can circulate freely. In a closed community, that benefit basically disappears.

It always begins with a white that says nothing.

I’m preparing the boards on which two panoramic sunsets will be born.
Before the sky, there is this repetitive, patient gesture.
Before the light, there is the ground.
The painting begins when there is still nothing to see.

I paint because I don’t know how to pretend that everything is fine.
Painting, for me, is not decoration: it’s a way to stay in touch with what I feel, even when it’s uncomfortable, even when it’s fragile.
My path is not linear. There have been long silences, times of distance from art, and then slow, almost shy returns. Each painting is born from that place: from putting my hands back into color without knowing where it will lead.
I don’t seek realism. I seek emotional resonance, something that stays in the viewer’s gaze more than in the shape of things.
Buying one of my paintings doesn’t mean “owning a beautiful object.”
It means welcoming a fragment of this journey: an honest attempt to turn an inner experience into matter.
If one of my works speaks to you, maybe it’s not for the color or the composition.
Maybe it’s because, for a moment, you recognize something of yourself in it.

Take Picasso's famous bull: a series of engravings in which, step by step, the bull is stripped of muscles, shadows and volume until only a few lines remain.
Picasso was not born 'modern'. He was born academic to the core.
Only those who know form can afford to deform it without lying.
If you look at Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, Picasso makes a violent gesture:
he breaks up the figure, breaks the single point of view, looks at the body as if it were an object you can turn in your hands.
Getting to the essential is a journey that takes years.
It's like writing a three-line poem that weighs as much as a novel.
That's what I meant.

È sempre molto complicato quantificare il valore di qualsiasi opera d'arte.
Personalmente non guardo più all'autore ma se l'opera mi trasmette emozioni o meno.
Se guardassi il mercato dell'arte o se io pensassi di diventare ricco coi miei dipinti, non riuscirei più a mettermi con un pennello in mano davanti ad una tela.
Meglio non pensare a certe cose.
