Has support for R Markdown in Nostr long-form articles ever been discussed?
NIP-23 already allows additional metadata tags, so an article could carry an optional marker for its format. something like ["format", "r-markdown"].
Regular clients would keep displaying it as normal Markdown. R-aware clients could recognize the format and render the code, tables, calculations and generated visualizations.
The marker would signal capability, not require every client to support or execute R.
Has something like this already been proposed, tested, or rejected?

We are as well constinuesly improving the client. Reading your words reminds me of the huddle we are facing with relays. Most even don't support the full nip29 spec.

#Lotus is a great place to start Nostr. You can explore and will already find common patterns you know from Google or other services like "Calendly".

Lotus Notes currently uses NIP-78 kind 30078 as its storage layer with NIP44 encryption to self. We have not implemented the draft NIP-33 personal-notes format because it does not currently cover features Lotus aimed to support, such as encrypted titles, folders, metadata documents, attachments and collaborative documents.
We plan to publish the Lotus Notes schema on NostrHub so other apps can read, write, import, and export Lotus notes stored in NIP-78 events.
That said I am very open to feedback. Nostra is still the Wild West, and my main goal is to build a good experience for mainstream users based on community feedback and my actuall RL friends.

Lightning login + Nostr is closing the gap from 'wallet users' to get a login with Nostr Identity.
This removes the friction of using Nostr Signing devices. One reason less to use mail when you have a wallet but not firm with Nostr now.

Just saying Fiat game will over life us both. I am not seeing a scenario where we both life in a BTC Standart global.
And tether gives US way more options to spread their Fiat then Bitcoin does.
With Bitcoin you back your stuff and with stablecoins you print the shit to the world.

I am not pro argumenting for tether from a personal stand. I am saying Bitcoin is nothing you can deploy your Fiat on and spread it to the world. You basically have no controll over monetary system.
If you spread your inflation and currency monopoly trough (as today) a well settled stablecoin like tether it's way more controll for you as a gov.
As well, look at what tether is backed with. Its a circle jerk win for the USD.
Means even if the CCP is banning USD (for whatever reason), the people in China will be able to transact within the USD trough tether. At least some. So a cancelation of using the USD is not possible for nearly 100%

No. Traditional payment rails (so called Fiat stuff) need infrastructure the regulators can cancel (in western country it's SWIFT in China it's CIPS). Code to built for example a tether wallet is open ( https://docs.wdk.tether.io/).
Everyone with need and access to some coding Agent can make a tether wallet (will even exponentially easier in future). What I am trying to say is that is Dollar can and will be spreader around the world to export their fucking high inflation.
And yes of course loosing economic status will change things.

Its a pattern. Politicians create benefits for groups of people. If you have a big entity of older people in your country you will likely see benefits for this group so the mf get voted again.
