If adversity does not put you off, it will strengthen you. If you need no recognition from the world, yet simply take deep reward from your adventure, it is worthy indeed. Watching Truth & Treason movie 🎥 tonight. These kinds of films are hard to watch with all that's going on these days and when I remember the stories my own parents told me, over the years in my youth, about their living through WWII in Holland while in their mid to late teens. At one time my father hid on a farm with a friend and watched German soldiers shoot the farmer's sons. My father and friend were not given up. That's just one of several I remember. My father didn't relay the worst of his experiences, taking many of his stories to his grave, and he very much hoped that we never had to live through times like that. I don't think I could be as brave as many people were during such horrific years. 🧡

Will recently received a letter from ANZ closing one of his business accounts. The reason given: the nature of the account is outside ANZ's risk appetite. No investigation. No prior warning. No process to appeal.
He's not alone. Commonwealth Bank caps transfers to crypto at $10,000 per month with no exemption process. NAB declines transactions to exchanges it considers high risk without publishing the list. Macquarie blocked a transfer to another bank simply because that bank hosts crypto exchange accounts. And CommSec placed a sell-only restriction on regulated, ASX-listed Bitcoin ETFs.

Begin the practice of being present all the time. When you ‘are, where you are’ you will be amazed at how more simple life is and how uncomplicated things become. Think of it logically, whilst in the middle of a work meeting what is the sense of thinking about the phone call that you promised to your mother, unless you intend to take the action on that phone call right there and then. Better to have the call scheduled in a specific time in your calendar and out of your head.
