I should have thought that "on the ground" would cause some confusion. I started drinking veggie cocktail just because it was easier to find in grocery stores, here in Alberta. I don't know why but tomato juice is harder to find here. Or maybe it is just me for no longer paying attention to tomato juice at the market.

Not tomato juice specifically, but veggie cocktail on the ground. Even though it is called a cocktail, it is non-alcoholic.
But orange or apple juice during a flight. Or maybe a tea. I just realised that I got it all backwards.

My father's Toshiba laptop from 2011 is live and, well, not well but usable. It has been a desktop device long before its screen gave up. It is still being used to this day, and knowing my dad, its uptime is best mentioned in months. Funny thing is that, it runs :solus: Solus rather than Ubuntu or Fedora. Solus of all distros showed better reliability on this device.

If you coded your program in JS, I understand that you might be inclined to use JSON. Maybe you want to reduce bloat or dependency by not including a TOML or YAML parser. But you are making it more difficult for us to contribute to your project, or fix something on our end.
It is quiet old too. Probably older than time itself given that it doesn't support date standards ISO 8601 or RFC 3339 out-of-the-box. That is because it doesn't need to, because it is not for configurations or manifests.

Dear developers,
Please don't use JSON for configuration files. It is intended for carrying data, and nothing else. Therefore, it is good at carrying data, and nothing else.
I strongly believe that anything that doesn't support comments shouldn't be used for configs. Comments are indispensable for short documentation, or putting a URL to proper documentation.
There are other plain text file formats better fit for this purpose, such as TOML, YAML, and even XML.

The sad thing is that people often misinterpret someone using something from a company as endorsement of the company. Be where you feel the happiest with your quality of both physical and digital life.

I am not much of a runner. Instead, I am a cyclist. What I get after a 20 minute ride in the traffic to and from supermarket is mild muscle spasm in my legs. Call me a macoshist if you want, but I can't deny that I feel better about myself when I feel a little pain after an exercise.
