Bought a cheap mini pc so I could install startOS. The v0.35 never shows up on my network. The alpha 0.4 does, but the marketplace appears empty, some posts online say the same.
I’ve tried mynode and umbrel on a raspberry pi 4 in the past, eventually something always happens and I’m not a programmer or network expert (AI helps a lot nowadays).
I’m now trying to install Ubuntu server on that machine (having trouble) and just install spectre desktop or core directly will see.

As for Kirk, the OP called him empathic, and respectful, not *correct*.
It’s worth noting that regarding Muslims that empathy usually goes out the window, but I don’t blame him, it’s the same kind of disgust many have on conservative Christians.
My main beef with him was how he would describe the US as a Christian nation but also defend separation of church and state.
I can get the nuance, but that’s doesn’t work in his type of rhetoric.

I’m actually going to do exactly that. I’ve done a few things using chat gpt4 (a website, a simple tool to calculate a few things).
Learning to code is something I’ve been doing kind of “for fun”.
But once you start you realize you don’t know anything and your roadmap is bullshit XD

I think Nostr is going to make it because that's how most OSS works once a certain threshold is achieved.
Also the incentives are more relaxed, a bug isn't going to destroy anyone's savings.
