Google has been pushing to have something similar to IPA standardised for a while but main browser vendors (who don't have models they can ship to their users) are against it because it creates an unfair competitive advantage for Chrome. https://developer.chrome.com/docs/ai/prompt-api
In fact, modern Chrome already ships this API and allows you to run inference from JS using gemma. They also have specialized APIs for translation or summarization that are able to use smoler, less general-purpose models that run on device.

they are complimentary, I expose same toolset to IPA and as WebMCP. That's an old site and spec has since moved to https://github.com/webmachinelearning/webmcp Agents browsing your site (like embedded browser in ChatGPT or Claude desktop app or agent-capable browsers) can discover and use WebMCP tools instead of wasting tokens taking screenshots and clicking around. I assume you refer to the official Claude extension, it's got awful reviews but is legit, I use it all the time so my agents can check their work interacting with the site.

:lul: jokes aside, i think it's pretty neat that websites can expose an API to agents so they don't have to waste time and tokens "seeing" and clicking around, that's for humans. WebMCP tools are faster and cheaper.

son los relays los que piden al cliente que se autentique, Amethyst simplemente te pide consentimiento en vez de tomar la decisión por ti. los relays no deberían pedirlo salvo bajo ciertas circunstancias (proteger lectura de eventos "sensibles", control de acceso etc) y no cuando quieras leer eventos públicos, aunque muchos lo hacen al establecer la conexión. personalmente sólo autentico cuando el relay lo requiere y confío en el operador. ten en cuenta que firmar autenticación permite asociar tu IP a tu identidad en nostr si no utilizas VPN.

k so i've been experimenting with a nostr aware agent called @npub149l…gwja that you can interact with via NIP-17 and also NIP-29 & Concord groups for multiplayer sessions. it has a bunch of tools for nostr and ngit stuff and its sessions can pause for hitl (approval, ask feedback, payment). the idea is to make a nostr native agent. similar to Buzz but working across every chat type.
sessions are posted to nostr so you can monitor and drive it from any client that implements the protocol. drafted a NIP at https://github.com/purrgrammer/hex/blob/main/spec/nip-agent-sessions.md
