Introduced my wife to AntennaPod for podcasts, as a step to wean us off Spotify, and her initial confusion was that she didn't have to log in to anything to use it, it just works, and she can find the podcasts she is interested in! 😊

Yes. I've occasionally been one of the annoying people, but now I basically just try and walk the walk for myself, helping others do the same in whatever way they see fit. There's no need to make it more complicated. The goal should be for the big exploitative tech platforms to loose users, the rest is just details.

Sometimes the Ubuntu snap version of firefox have very weird behavior.
Maybe try the Deb repo?

I bought my Google Pixel 8 Pro phone specifically to run @npub1kwa…e0nj on it.
I kept feeling challenged by all the Danish citizen apps like — in particular — MitID, that completely refuse to work on your smartphone unless you have sold your soul to Silicon Valley fuckers, so I tried Google Android again, and while convenient it felt bad to have Google in my pocket. Being surveilled 24/7.
So now I'm back on GrapheneOS since friday. It feels nice. The phone and its data is mine again.
