Sure, I'll take some. Those other ones you sent never sprouted, but from what I've read, germination drops off pretty quickly and it was later in the year. I guess they are putting out seeds now. I ordered three bare root cottonwoods that were about 1-2 feet tall and planted them. But I'll see how the fresh seeds do. Thanks!

Fabulous articles. Well articulated and concise. I was wondering about one part and interested in some elaboration. In your A Theistic Perspective on Money and Bitcoin article you start off describing how love or violence can be used to coordinate human behavior before there was money, and in a fallen world, money has let us coordinate human behavior beyond our social group, reducing the use of violence (evil). In the what is money section I'm assuming you are referencing I Timothy 6:10 when you say "In this way, I do not believe that money is the root of all evil." Maybe you intended it the way you wrote it, but that verse is often misquoted because it says "For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil." Because yes, money does give an option other than violence to coordinate. But I don't agree with what you quoted right after, "if it were not for the presence of evil in all humans, the invention of money would not have been required". In describing Eden in Genesis 2:10-12, pre fall, gold, an earliest form of money, is described as being there, and being good. "And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; and the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone." But excellent articles with thought provoking perspectives on the topics. The community needs more articles like this.

The applewood butcherblock top for the island is finally completed! From cutting 11 trunks in nearby Adams County, one of the big apple producing regions in the country, loading them on the pickup, taking it to get cut up at the mill, waiting for it to dry, and then joining and planing down all the pieces, gluing them up, sanding them down, and applying the finish, it is a true test of low time preference that paid off. I think it is cool having such a unique piece made from a local and regionally, economically significant product.

I'm glad you only use natural ingredients and a little disappointed in humanity that no one figured out how to steam distill coconuts. I steep dessicated coconut in cream (then strain it out) to make coconut ice cream. It is the only flavor in the ice cream and it is the best tasting coconut ice cream. Haven't tried washing myself with it though. That would be a COLD shower.

I just got the last strips of apple wood all glued together. Once I trim the ends the final product will be about 38.5" x 84" x 1.5". I need to sand and finish, but it is looking like a butcherblock countertop!

Discussing this with @nprofile…sp75 today at the @nprofile…p5vh meetup: would it be difficult to rig up a miner to run off of solar power without a battery that would just scale hashing up and down based on the intensity of the sun? Say a bitaxe or something, the sun comes up in the morning, enough sunlight and it kicks on, sun rises in the sky and with full sun the miner starts hashing at full potential. But then it gets cloudy, so the miner scales back to how much the solar panel can produce until sun sets when panel stops producing enough electricity and the miner shuts off. Seems like a simple, fairly maintenance free setup. Has anyone made something like this yet? #asknostr

Did you figure out any travel plans yet? Rideshares can be pretty expensive. Is the guy you got a ride from before going? Could you get picked up in Clevelend from a train or bus? Trains are great. I got mooned in Georgia riding on the train. Some guys fishing in a bass boat while going over a bridge.
