This is what the Strait of Hormuz looks like right now. I am using the MarineTraffic app on my Android phone.
Because all ships have a transponder, you can easily see the traffic anywhere in the world, which could be near where you live or in a war zone.
It would be great to see a picture of what this looked like before the troubles, but unfortunately, I do not have that.
The important thing is which of these ships is entering the strait that is an oil tanker. You can click on each one of these to figure out which one is an oil tanker, but of course most ships are not that.

That is indeed a major upside. I used to fly in and out of Lynchburg, Virginia a lot before my parents both kicked the bucket.
And the only place that flights go to from there is Charlotte. So it's really like a gate that's very far from the Charlotte Airport, but it's just like a Charlotte Airport gate.

So I have OpenClaw and it's awesome but it builds code for me and sometimes things are busted. I put Claude Code CLI on the machine and I use it to look at and try to debug OpenClaw.
I can see how we could get into a situation where you got a bunch of buggy crap and there's another agent that's kind of watching the buggy crap and rebooting it and dicking with it all the time to keep it going.
You get the situation where A.I. just makes hideous code more hideous, as one of the commenters was saying on an earlier post.
A.I. bloat will become this nightmare that nobody has any way of digging out of eventually. Maybe not that long from now.

I knew instantly this would be my career. Software. That has been a true statement
