Interesting contrast today in how Hollywood is using AI versus Bollywood.

This is a really insightful take on Intel’s board firing its CEO.
Intel missed two major waves; mobile and AI. Meanwhile Nvidia went all-in on GPUs for AI in 2013 (over ten years ago).
Intel is now trying to become a foundry that competes with TSMC making chips for others while also making its own chips. Many believe it should spin off the foundry because its company culture will prioritize its own chips.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned as a manager is situational leadership. I used to think I should manage people how I like to be managed but a one-size-fits-all approach is flawed.
People exist on a continuum of low to high skill at the task and low to high motivation (will) to get it done. How you manage them for that specific task is different. You should delegate to and empower High skill, high will workers while being more direct in showing low skill, low workers what to do.

Stablecoins like Tether remind me of Uber. Regulation led to products with poor user experience (taxis) so there was a window of opportunity for Uber to show up with a better user experience which ignored regulations until it was tok big to ban.
Regulations on foreign exchange transactions especially in emerging markets with unstable currencies have created a similar situation for Tether and other stablecoins.
