My father blamed it on being a depression baby. The wash and dried the plastic wrap from steaks! If he saved things properly that would have been fine, but he'd just put stuff in a box and stick in the cellar for decades. We ended up with moldy 78 records, moisture swollen books, and a lot of crap.

Went to get my mail, and not only was my mail in my mailbox, but the mail for 3 other apts in my building. I can see how the delivery person got confused with my name and a neighbor's beginning with the same letter but lived in a completely different floor, as was the case with another neighbor's mail. At least I got some exercise in walking up and down the stairs a couple of times.

Went and had my dental implant post put in this morning. I think that I spent more time waiting for the dr to make sure I was numbed up than the procedure took.
Home now, novacaine has all but worn off and I have a little discomfort on the roof of my mouth, and still a little bleeding.
The most painful part was the novacaine injections which weren't that bad because of the lidocaine gel

I'm not a painkiller person, I've had 9 surgeries and I've taken a painkiller once. My first surgery was on my knee and no one told me not to sleep in my bed. I guess I bent my knee while sleeping, woke up in pain and popped a pill, haven't taken one since.

It's a condo, and the current owners currently live in the city where I live. I think they just did the cosmetic fixes to sell quickly. My offer was supposedly their floor and accepted right away.
HOA is taking in over 1/4 million a year, and the property doesn't look like it.

Home inspection report in. Horizontal crack in slab foundation, incorectly bonded sub electrical panel, no exterior vent for bathroom fans, no air gap for the dishwasher, and other things. Feels like lipstick on a pig for a quick sell.
Looking around the property the common area upkeep is below par, especially for the monthy fee they charge.
I'm waiting for my agent to go over the report, and to discuss how I feel about it

This reminds me of the computer class that I "took" in HS, back in the early 80's. The first 2 weeks were spent on the difference between hardware and software.
