Weight training helps, but if you're doing powerlifting style (low reps and high weight), you're not really getting high intensity.
For pure fat burning, sprints are the way to go. I'm not saying don't weight train. I'm talking best bang for your buck.

I would say drink normal or decrease. Some people do "dry fasts" which means no food AND no water. I've seen people do dry fasts for as long as two weeks and there's a Russian doctor (can't think of the name of the top of my head) that cures a lot of ailments with it.

There really is no need to "drink a lot of water". You're going to deplete electrolytes with urination and if you're not replenishing them d/t not eating, you're just going to make yourself feel worse.
