but there is a lot of truth to it when a need or desire is expressed...

yeah great points here.
the man in the second video just sounds ridiculous.
his reasoning is a complete non sequitur. it does not follow that just because a man is kind therefore a woman gets bored. there are soooooo many other factors in a relationship.
what are her interests?
what are her dreams?
what are her aspirations?
what excites her?
what surprises her?
what encourages her to grow?
of course a "40 day challenge" or whatever will fail, because love is not a checklist of things to do, it involves seeing, holding, and caring for another's heart and soul. doing random things to try to make someone happy or like you more is not loving someone. the intention—the energy—is all wrong.
that's why whenever i see this stuff about "frame" or whatever, i just roll my eyes. it's silly and stupid. they reduce relationships down to transactions and logic: if i do this, she does that; if i act this way, she acts that way; if i hold back here, she will respond this way. that's not how relationships work, that's a form of manipulation.
as someone who is in a loving relationship—and who submits to his Wife—and has grown tremendously in the process, i can absolutely say that the guy in the second video doesn't have a clue about loving a woman. and that the man in the original video knows exactly how to love a woman.

i frame my attentiveness, attunement, and devotion as submission; i highly doubt they do. but it's no big deal because it takes various shapes and has feels in different ways, but presence is presence and love is love.
