i've recently picked up an old #lisp project of mine which is a graphical chess engine in common lisp using pure opengl and sdl2.

the reason i chose cl for it is the parsing capabilities would be really handy in parsing chess.com or similar playback files and translating them to an animated gameplay simulation
I hate opengl. So many footguns.
