This add-on adds a 'Report post' option to the post menu. This allows users to report public posts on a hub to the administrator so that they can take action, if necessary, to moderate the content.
Selecting this menu item opens a dialogue box in which you must enter a message explaining the reason for the report. When you submit the report, a non-public direct message is sent to the hub's primary admin channels, containing the reason and a link to the source of the post.

Das Addon fügt dem Beitragsmenü den Eintrag "Posting melden" hinzu. Damit ist es möglich, öffentliche Beiträge auf einem Hub dem Administrator zu melden, damit dieser eventuell moderierend eingreifen kann.
Die Auswahl des Menüeintrags öffnet ein Dialogfenster, in welchem man eine Mitteilung zum Grund der Meldung eintragen muss. Sendet man die Meldung ab, wird den primären Admin-Kanälen des Hub eine nicht-öffentliche Direktnachricht geschickt, welche die Begründung und einen Link zur Quelle des Beitrags enthält.

Since I couldn't find a forum channel for exchanging information about Forte, I created one myself today. English and German are equally allowed and desired. And of course anyone who is somehow interested in Forte can participate. This includes those who don't have a Forte account or are not in a Forte channel. 😉
Da ich keinen Foren-Kanal zum Austausch über Forte gefunden habe, habe ich heute selbst einen solchen erstellt. Englisch und Deutsch sind gleichermaßen erlaubt und gewünscht. Habe mich mal ein wenig näher mit den derzeit existierenden alternativen Hubzilla-Themes befasst. Und irgendwie bin ich bei den [url=https://github.com/saiwal/Utsukta-hub-themes]Utsukta-Themes von Saiwal[/url] hängengeblieben.

Man muss es ja beim Posten im Fediverse nicht übertreiben mit Formatierungen und Schnickschnack. Aber ein paar grundlegende Beitragsformatierungen gehören für mich - vor allem bei längeren Beiträgen (damit meine ich nicht 501 Zeichen, sondern mindestens 1.500+) - einfach dazu, weil sie auch die Lesbarkeit verbessern.
Und ich klatsche gerne auch kleine Banner unter manche Postings (je nach Kontext)... z.B. das Join Hubzilla Banner (mit Link zur deutschsprachigen Hubzilla-Einstiegs-Seite) oder unter die Hubzilla-Häppchen das Hubzilla-Häppchen Banner, welches per Link zu allen Häppchen-Beiträgen führt.
Friendica, Hubzilla und (streams) zeigen das auch ganz korrekt an. Die meisten anderen Dienst nicht ganz so schön. Da ist die Grafik (meist groß) vorhanden, darüber steht dann aber immerhin der Link zum jeweiligen Ziel. Nur Mastodon versaut es komplett. Da ist auch nur die zu große Grafik zu sehen... aber der Link wird unterschlagen.
Aber soll ich wegen dieser Unzulänglichkeiten z.B. auf die Banner verzichten? NÖ! Und auf Bilder? Auch NÖ!
Wer es anständig dargestellt haben möchte, muss dann halt Hubzilla, Friendica, Streams (und in Zukunft womöglich Forte) nutzen. Deshalb untendrunter auch wieder das Join-Hubzilla Banner... und für alle Mastodon-Nutzer: Der Link dahinter ist #^[url=https://hubzilla.hu]https://hubzilla.hu[/url] 😉

Wer behauptet, Hubzilla sieht "langweilig" oder "altbacken" aus?
Es ist einerseits auch im Standard-Theme gut anpassbar und es gibt mittlerweile wirklich schöne Themes, die sich auch noch gut anfühlen.
Ein Dank an Scott für das Theme "neuhub-tab" und SK für seine ganz frischen neuen Themes.

Pünktlich zum Weihnachtsfest hat Mario Vavti, der Chef-Entwickler von Hubzilla, die Version 10.0 (10.0.1) des Social Networking CMS #^[zrl=https://hubzilla.org/page/info/discover]Hubzilla[/zrl] veröffentlicht. Die neue Version enthält zahlreiche Fehlerkorrekturen, es wurden etliche jquery-Funktionen durch reine js-Funktionen ersetzt, das HQ verbessert, einiges an überflüssigen Librarys entfernt und vor allem wurden Conversation Containers eingeführt... und es gab noch weitere Verbesserungen "unter der Haube".
Hubzilla gehört zu den Fediverse-Anwendungen mit der kontinuierlichsten Weiterentwicklung und ist, neben der reinen Nutzung als Zugang zum Fediverse, ein echtes Allzweck-Werkzeug. So habe ich kürzlich mein Blog #^[zrl=https://pepecyb.hu]PepeCyBs Welt[/zrl] komplett zu Hubzilla migriert. Funktioniert prima!

I still don't understand the idea behind ‘Forte’. Apart from the fact that it is a concept for a platform derived from the streams repo, which again comes with its own identity, name, standard licence and possibly a logo. This makes it the further development of (streams) into a Fediverse service that can be used in practice.
What I don't understand: Why did Zot/Nomad have to be kicked out? Zot/Nomad has the nomadic identity in its DNA. It is part of the basic concept of the protocol and is now fully developed. Sure... its use is limited to the ‘grid’, i.e. the entirety of Hubzilla hubs. But it simply works there.
Giving AcivityPub a nomadic identity is a really strong achievement by Mike. It really is a great extension of the AP protocol. But... if he now develops Forte exclusively with AP into a functioning platform, the nomadic identity will again be limited to the resulting ‘Forte Grid’, because I expect a number <1 that will implement AP nomadics in a new or existing AP Fediverse service. And with Mastodon, this nomadic identity will exist no later than the day that Christmas and Easter fall on the same day.
Now there were probably a few problems with the introduction of the nomadic AP in (streams). But I think they could have been eliminated and still used the tried and tested Zot/Nomad as the basis. Forte would have been the result... with better AP functionality. But it would have given you the opportunity to operate nomadically with the Hubzilla grid and thus have a much larger base.
But as it is, it's not really interesting for me. Why should I focus on a new niche project and leave my established (no longer quite so) niche project (after all, 174 hubs with just under 8,000 users at present)?
It is exciting. But the advantages of nomadic identity are very limited until the majority of other AP-based Fediverse services also implement it.

Nachdem ich nun meinen (streams) Hub zu Grabe getragen habe, weil ich dafür keine Zukunftsperspektive sehe, möchte ich mir neben meinen Hubzilla-Hubs noch einen anderen zweiten Fediverse-Dienst einrichten und betreiben.
Und die einzige Software, die meinen Wünschen und Vorstellungen entspricht wäre Friendica. Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich ja schon einen solchen Versuch unternommen, es dann aber wieder eingestampft, nachdem die Datenbank schier "explodierte", sich also nach etlichen Wochen unauffälligen Betriebs innerhalb weniger Tage auf ein völlig unakzeptabels Maß aufblähte.
Bevor ich aber nun einen weiteren Versuch starte und eine Domain "opfere" (fürs Fediverse ist das ja quasi ein Einweg-Produkt), wollte ich hier mal die Friendica-Experten, insbesondere die Admins, fragen, wie ich Friendica möglichst ressourcenschonend und ohne die Gefahr einer expansiv anwachsenden Datenbank betreiben kann. Die Anweisungen zum grundsätzlich ressourcenschonenden Betrieb aus dem Admin-Handbuch sind mir bekannt. Gibt es noch Tipps oder Infos zur vernünftigen Konfiguration?
Geplant ist die Installation mittels YunoHost auf einem VPS. Die Instanz wird Registrierung mit Admin-Genehmigung erlauben.
