This just sounds nuts to me. You have a group of companies complaining that the open source projects that they use for 90+% of their projects has vulnerabilities that they "can't fix like first party code."
So what is their solution? Fork the project to be private, write the fix, distribute to all the members and then announce publicly the vulnerabilities so the community can fit it. Way to give back to open source software that powers your business, jerks!

So the more experience workers get to work remotely and the younger ones have to come to spend more time in the office with the more experience workers... Hold on 🤔
Still I feel the NY Fed here is being a bit of an AI apologist. That is like saying that the number of manufacturing jobs stayed the same after the robotic production line. It can't, and the more experienced workers know how to deal with the bespoke and edge cases.
Still I think companies are still (since I first graduated) are saving a buck by not really training the new workers and expecting them to be fully trained out of higher education.

They call it their robot superstore. It is quote fancy. It is a Hugh warehouse with a smaller area that you go and collect your product and I think it may have automatic order picking.
There was a place in Coventry England called Eclipse Computers that was very similar in the late 90s onwards. Used to have to have a copy of MicroMart magazine to know what they had (they even had a copy you could use on store)

Maybe go a step further and ban political parties entirely. Have the election then get them to vote for who is the premier as an entire Parliament. Make it so you have to know where your candidate stands.
At least go back to not putting it on the ballot paper and not mentioning it on the news when they speak.

I would avoid the Vax ones... But being a Vax Steam Mop owner, I might be biased. Sure it was sold as being a 2-in-1 mop but the steam is terrible and it never feels like it works as a handheld. So many times it needs to be scribed over the simplest of marks.
That being said, the 1000W Piranha that had the tank on top of the pad (so better balance as all the heavy stuff was on the ground) was awesome! Shame now you need the really expensive ones to get that.

Well an update I should have had yesterday... UQ sent an e-mail saying how Brisbane City Council Parking is going to OPark, but UQ parking is staying as CellOPark, just so you need both apps on your phone. Grrr.

I found a AWS site with a letter that looked to be from the University of Sydney.
Then I saw it... The search results on Duckduckgo for Brisbane City Parking payments had that Cellopark was changing its name to OPark and I clicked the the link to find... Absolutely no mention on the entire page.
Or is it another attempt to fill our phones with spyware that could be fixed by allowing you to run apps in sandboxes?
