The area was once the big thicket, and there's very small pieces left of the habitat. We have a lot of people coming into the area who are ignorant about the wildlife and how we cohabitate with them. If you are in a neighborhood like mine, you should be driving considerably slow and safe enough that if you were to see a creature you would have more than enough time to check surroundings and navigate dodging it. The roads are large, pretty empty, full of kids and ducks, and we drive slowly.
