A user is claiming that Microsoft's own Windows Firewall can be used to force your computer to reboot.
If true, and if a server were targeted, this could force a Windows Server into an endless reboot loop — a new form of denial-of-service attack.

You're not wrong, but I picked Mastodon because it was what everyone else was using. I only recently learned there were other options.

What I dislike about Mastodon is that its development seems overly focused on keeping everything within Mastodon itself. For example, Misskey lets me quote people from any platform, but Mastodon only allows quoting other Mastodon users.
