I read it. It didn't answer really why this couldn't be done with a new shared delusion instead of ordinals. Ord indexes are not backwards compatible. Ie I have to reindex the whole thing on any upgrade. Can I build a index that only gets these addresses and not have to index every sat? It takes weeks for a ordinals database to sync, especially if you're indexing sats.

I'm just confused why outputs need to be inscribed as an ordinal and not just a new protocol? If ordinals is just abstracting main chain for a shared delusion then why not abstract something new?

The most interesting thing thing that came out of making grain from scratch without trying to use external deps was the logging I made. Component based structured logging. I love it. I think I'm going to separate it out into its own project at some point.

You can be on spark as well sure, but the whole system is set up to be a global payments system. In this instance amber is your remote signer. So amber holds your key. When a client wants to sign something, it reaches out to amber and asks amber to sign it (you approve)
Your key never leaves amber. That's how it works and why it's much more secure than pasting your name in an app. When you login with nsec, your are trusting the client with your private key. The client uses your nsec to sign things. You have to trust the security model of the client to store your key in a secure way and also trust that they won't just completely rug you to begin with.

There is no reason that someone can't make a game that sells a million copies that uses nostr as an identity layer.
Why haven't we seen anything then? Well... Mostly the space is small. It's just not a ton of people working on projects with that kind of ambition. That's not to say that nostr needs users to sell a product. It doesn't. How many users does any game have before it comes out? Zero. People buy the game, and make an account.
We just need a small ambitious team that wants to make a real game. Not some weekend side project that just uses nostr for a leaderboard or some shit.

@nprofile…2lxp for some reason I get unauthorized errors when trying to upload to my happytavern blossom servers. I should be authorized on both, but one of them should be completely open to any key 0x0.happytavern.co
I could be a me issue because for some reason, other servers work fine in #amethyst . But also, the 0x0 site works just fine with an extension and they also work fine in jumble, primal and nostrudel.
Only amethyst give me this error for them

Blossom server backed by 0x0.st for ephemeral storage based on content size. It's an idea I had a while ago and I think I'm going to implement for the good of nostr.

I never seem to get more than 11. The tavern relay has had a ton of changes and I'm testing and importing. So it could very well have bad events. But 0xchat relay never connects either.

For some reason bottom 2 relays never connect, I can't view a feed. It works fine in wisp and nostrudel. I'm connecting to like 500+ relays but stop around 8-11/500+ when connecting.

The edit is just another kind1 ... Plus your delete and reissue creates lots of issues like comments on the original being lost as a client won't know the older event coords.

If I tell a client to delete and my relay doesn't, then it's not my relay. It's also not adhering to the spec. Which is fine since only NIP-1 is required and the rest are optional.
I'm not arguing for a change by saying relays should delete events when clients ask them too. I'm arguing for more relays to implement NIP-9.

I'm not arguing for any change... I'm arguing the spec should be implemented as written. I'm well aware a client can't make a relay do anything. But if I tell my client to delete a note, my relay should delete it. Otherwise, I'm leaving that relay. As anyone else should also do. What's a relay for if it doesn't honor your intentions?
