It took us about 2 years to even hang a picture because we moved in when I was 35 weeks pregnant and life got a bit busy after that 😂

Since we moved into our house (almost 5 yrs ago 😅), the balcony was always the least used space.
Recently I discovered it's actually a great place to sit when it's a bit windy or cold in the garden, or to watch the sunsets in the evening, so I put a little effort in to make it a cosy sitting corner.
Now it's just wonderful 🍵🎐🌅

This is a Scottish variety called Glen Ample, but they seem to thrive here in Finland too.
They're so sweet, they taste like candy 😋

It is pretty cool! To me this was normal growing up... now I live in a town where the oldest building is only 150 years old, and then I realised it's actually quite special to live in a 2,000-year-old city with this many preserved buildings 🙈

Today's garden project: creating this little mulch bed in this awkward gap to connect the raised flower bed and the deck.
Instantly it looks more connected and intentional 👌 (and smells amazing)
