There are real advantages of working from home:
- reduced transport meaning less wasted time, less pollution, less energy expenditure and cost
- lower facilities requirements and costs for businesses assuming they can rotate their workforce on premises hours properly
- people can choose an environment in which they can be more productive
There is a balance of course, but "working from home means they're not actually doing work" is a dinosaur perspective these days.

About 7% from Saudi, which does not go via the Persian Gulf at all
About 6% from Iraq, which has a northern pipeline via Kirkuk-Ceyhan and are even driving it in trucks.
The whole thing is such a nothing burger for us. We don't depend on the Middle East for anything

The "Secular" Facade: The Constitution technically describes Lebanon as a "civil state" and mentions the goal of eventually abolishing sectarianism, but after nearly a century, those provisions remain largely ignored.

It seems there are 2 different things: hacking the events by producing a new event with an existing event id, forcing the relay to have to decide which is the real one or "updating" its record of which one is authoritative, and explicitly saying "this is a new event (with a different event id) that references and obsoletes this other event" which is a protocol level thing that has to be explicitly coded
