Woodchucks (marmot) will also dig under the fence to get to the feed. Luckily they’re herbivores and I’ve never witnessed them be agressive towards the chickens, but it gets tiresome filling the holes with rocks

Our oldest rooster has only one eye after surviving a coon attack. He’s been a good protector and will be allowed to live out his days. Our younger roosters are assholes though.

Be aware that the roosters truly are nasty rapists. If you don’t have the ratio of hens to rooster right they will literally “rape” a hen to death. I’ve got couple roosters that are fixing to be chicken tacos here pretty soon.
