I want to say if you sent bitcoin at all from your wallet that may be considered ‘spending’. so they’d compare that to your cost basis on those coins and you’d have a gain or loss. that’ll happen on any exchange, I got one from River & Strike. Up to you whether you want to actually report it though

I use primal mainly which allows for you to switch between nsecs insanely easily. As far as managing the keys themselves, write them down or stamp them into metal like a bitcoin key
