DOA is one of my all time favorite bands. A DOA show back in their prime was almost a life altering jolt from your own reality and into a pit of angst and release back when moshing was called slammin. I"ve been following this story as I was a Commodore kid and I get where they're coming from in the nostalgia niche but I'd love to see Commodore relevant again. If I had unlimited cash here's what I would do.
I would go to the current commodore guys and ask if I could head up a self funded division, then I'd scour the tech schools for crazy electronic engineers and I'd give them these tasks: A) Build, a revolutionary GPU B) Put it in a computer that costs $1000.00 max

Seems like new people are arriving via #forkiverse. My biggest Mastodon tip is follow everyone. Not just ha ha ha ya follow everyone, no I mean follow everyone you can. With no algorithm you need content for your feeds. You can always cutaway the accounts you don't like after the fact. You have way more safety tools here than on any other platform so follow en masse.

I recently connected with an old friend in the exploration field with a lot of contacts in the mining industry. He says Europe is rushing in to buy Canadian aluminum which, because of abundance of hydro electricity is still produced cheaper than China. The USA is severely damaging its manufacturing sectors by making the raw inputs from Canada too expensive and other countries are taking advantage. These tarrifs are beyond stupid.

Under the law you basically can't exist without money. In cities you can't loiter or sleep in parks. In the bush you can't permanently camp on crown land.
