Let me be clear, the majority of this is pretty uncontested. Only a fool would think that a ground war in Iran would be anything but a disaster of death. Only the dishonest Trump supporters would make this case. The part that sounds absurd to me is this.

I have heard many Christians say that failing to pay taxes is stealing. Its interesting because most Christians I know have a big issue when I say taxation is theft.
Seems like a logical fallacy to me but can't express which one.
On the Biblical side though I do think we are commanded to pay taxes. Even of it is theft. But I see no command to lie about what it is. The issue I see and how I would teach someone is that lying is a sin. So if you falsely declare your earnings that is the wrong. Not the failure to pay an unjust tax.
The way of Jesus is hard. We are to forgive those that trespass against us. We are to love our enemies. So paying taxes is a good witness of someone following Jesus. Cheering it on and claiming it is moral is not.

From what I've seen the vast majority of commentary on these ICE shootings are coming from a political frame, not a non-political right to defend one's self (2A). It is clear that Trump and many of his fans are saying things that are in direct contradiction to people that believe in our right to carry arms and defend ourselves. It is important to separate that right from our opinions on the two sides. You can love what ICE is doing or hate it. That's not hard to discern. I hear a lot of people that never defend 2A defending it in this case. I hear a lot of people that claim to care about 2A dropping that over politics.

Is Nick Fuentes Good, Bad, or Neutral for the Right Wing Movement Broadly?
Not asking if you like him, agree with him, or think ill/good of him. Not asking if you align with his positions. I have thoughts, but like Trump I wonder if he's more of a change agent, or result/reaction. And I wonder if his rise is going to be good/bad/indifferent for the movement long term.
It could be that his rise sparks thought and debate that has been outside of the 3x5 index card. It could be that he is simply another figure that is used to discredit people. He could be sincere. He could be an OP. Not the point of this poll.
Is he Good / BAD or Neutral for the larger tent of right of center politics and the ideas.
I would include conservatives, libertarians, agorists, and anarcho-capitalists in the right of center category.
Clearly some in the movement are trying to co-op his audience and his audience seems larger than many realize. Especially among younger men.

My default position to trust no politican regardless of what they say or what party they join has aged pretty well.
Many misunderstand trust.
"Firm belief in the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing; confidence or reliance."
Is it wise to trust a class of people that have a long track record of lying and deceiving those they claim to work for?
If you wanted to show your son or daughter an example of a person with character would you most likely point to a politician?
Is it wise to rely on a politician for anything important in your life?
You can like what a politician does sometimes but trusting them always seems like a fools errand to me. But that's me.

LOL. The entire reason this business exists is because the governments do not respect property rights. Anyone who is a property owner that rents and has tried to evict someone knows it's a joke.
Pretty creative use of the rights to use weapons in your home to defend against intrududers. That so called expert they have in the report could have mentioned that if a home owner has an intruder and uses force they could be sued or face criminal charges as well. Not just in this case.

Stacker. News is great. Love the site and community there but it's not my house. Some of the issues with social media are around expectations. This idea that its a public square are part of the problem. They are all owned by people. But the expectations are that they are public squares and some try to be. In the end the tradeoffs and expectations lead to conflicts.
If you want to make the rules you do have to have skin in the game. Nostr is a really good balace of the two. You can run a relay or use others relays. You have the ability to do things you just can't do on most networks. Nostr has so much up side.

I always find it interesting to read how people come to see problems which arise from the lack of a clear understanding of property rights. Property rights are not mentioned at all directly in these posts but this is actually the root of the problem being described.
When you do not control the site you are at the mercy of the one that does. They may just allow things you do not want, or deny things that you do. Back in mid 2000s and 2010s I had come to this conclusion myself. I was managing all the web sites for a private university and I kept getting request to enable comments on the blogs and article features of the sites. As I had been managing web sites and using them for some time at that point I advised against it.
When you open your doors to anyone you are taking on a new responsibility. The house analogy is one I used as well. If you are gonna just let anyone in, you better be prepared to handle whatever comes along. Otherwise you will be at the mercy of those that comment on your site.
There are no free lunches. Even Stacker.news is at the mercy of those with the keys to the kingdom. Making social networking sites or even sites like SN that may not be social media, but are open to anyone isn't that hard. What is hard is managing it and encouraging good behaviors and discouraging bad ones.
