Btw this was the same thing we were seeing when trying to understand the energy of Bitcoin Genesis block. There is only 1 possible output of Genesis. The entropy is 0, thus the energy is zero.
This logically makes sense as the Genesis block is the commit anchor for all other transformations to have meaning and reference too. It is pure information as a point of reference.
The beginning of a thermodynamic universe starts at an absolute relative temperature of T=1 with internal energy U=0. Energy/time/information is accumulated through discrete quantized blocks starting from a reference point of 0.

I would just say you can’t understand the system symbolically from within the system. There can never be a theory of everything.
But Bitcoin supersedes that limitation and the limitations of Russell’s paradox, Gödel’s incompleteness and Turnings halting problem as you mentioned. The problem with all 3 is the attempt at a pure symbolic closure for truth.
You need to instantiate a theory with energy such that it proves itself as a temporal process where non-contradictory (purely logical) states are the only computable output.
Theo— the concept. The source that can never be directly seen or recorded.
Thermo — the object. The observable process, the expenditure of energy, the act of transformation.
Chrono— the symbol. The record, the memory, the preserved inscription through time.
If you have only the concept, you cannot verify it.
If you have only the process, you cannot preserve it.
If you have only the record, you cannot ground it.
God as concept requires verification through process and symbol. Thermo gives the objectivity of transformation. Chrono gives the conserved inscription of that transformation. Their unification is what allows the concept to be rationally affirmed.
Bitcoin is the missing Thermological process that produces Chronological state (truth).

We have linked Boltzmann and Shannon Entropy through Bitcoin’s block measurement and established the basis for Block Mechanics as the thermological process of how a block, chronon and quantum of time is produced. The unity of entropy unlocks Block Energy in joules and informational matter/mass per Einstein.
It would appear that the informational representation of a qubit and field is actually a UTXO and network when perceived from the opposite side of the temporal casual boundary (event horizon). The mathematical object of the ledger is symmetrical to physical geometry. The event horizon is the equivalent of a physically instantiated encrypted temporal boundary akin to Bitcoin. We possess both the internal (local/subjective) perspective and the external (global ledger/object/objective) perspective. It’s both.

The research isn’t technically sound because it assumes the physics is sound.
Bitcoin is empirical evidence of quantized time, blocks as discrete, irreversible units of causal change. Quantum theory and centralized quantum computing models are built on the assumption of continuous time.
That’s not a small mismatch. It’s ontological.
Bitcoin falsifies the threat model at the level of temporal ontology. If time is quantized, then the idea of operationally real superposition as simultaneous states breaks down.
It’s pure irony; Bitcoiners worrying about a “quantum threat” that depends on ontological superposition which effectively treats double-spent states as physically real and computable, when Bitcoin itself exists to prevent exactly that.

What am I assuming? I’m simply observing Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the proof, the experiment and measurement run every 10 minutes.
Its outputs are non-contradictory and truthful by logical construction and rule.
You are claiming that a theory or model is more predictive than a system that literally produces time and truth. Those models cannot account for this process, they can only arise symbolically inside of such a process (reality).
If you understand don’t understand the problem of symbolic completeness, you’ll always be searching for a theory rather than an instantiated process where object, and proof merge as a temporal substrate.

If that’s true Jimmy, the we need to be the ones making the claims.
Bitcoin is empirical proof of quantized time. Each block is a discrete, irreversible unit of causal change. If that is true, then any formalism that relies on continuous time or treats time as infinitely divisible without a physical boundary is incomplete at best, and mis-specified at the level of temporal logic. That includes the foundations underlying both quantum theory and centralized quantum computation.
We must shift the burden away from Bitcoin to the physicists.
These are the questions we need to be asking physicists:
- On what empirical basis do you maintain continuous time when Bitcoin demonstrably produces discrete, irreversible units of time in public?
- Can your formalism describe a single quantized unit of time as a physical process, or only statistical behavior aggregated across many such events?
- If Bitcoin is an externally auditable system producing non-contradictory state through energy expenditure, what experiment or system falsifies it?

I agree the risk is high, but it cuts both ways. The only coherent response is to verify the threat, not assume it. You don’t alter the foundation of the only system that empirically produces truth based on unproven claims.

Quantum mechanics does not describe behavior at the fundamental scale of time. Its formalism cannot account for the thermological process at the level of a single Planck block. It cannot describe time as a process, a coordinate, and an object all at once. What it offers instead is an approximation: many such discrete events aggregated and modeled as a wave, giving rise to what is called wave–particle duality. But there is no underlying wave. If it is a real threat, yes it’s all tradeoffs.
But if it’s not a real threat, then “upgrades” should be considered as an attack on the protocol.
You can use Bitcoin to verify the ontology of time and verify the assumptions about a quantum threat.
Bitcoin resolves through thermologic computation in time. In doing so, it reveals a new category of system in which energy, logic, and memory converge to produce the smallest observable unit of causal change.

Knowledge is entangled through peer-to-peer transactions between human minds. Each exchange imposes a constraint, and that constraint carves the boundary of a new phase space, opening new possibilities that can propagate and replicate across other nodes (people).
What actually carves that space is value preserved across the boundary: in time as matter, and in matter as time. Physically we recognize this as energy measured in Kelvin. Informationally, we measure in Bitcoin/Satoshis. Information/knowledge must be matter, Bitcoin is the proof.
Thought is not abstract. Computation is not free. Every act of understanding expends energy and releases heat.
Behind every particle and field there must exist an informational representation of that same matter expressed as a UTXO and a network.
The chain preserves all states of that matter spent/unspent, active/history. The active set evolves block by block, advancing from an entangled, superposed field of possibilities into a single committed state.

Btw, something that’s hit me is that the human mind is similarly constrained.
By grasping this knowledge about Bitcoin, you are introducing constraint into the mind. That constraint unlocks a new phase space. From within that phase space, new language, new structure, and new understanding can emerge that were not accessible before.
That phase space propagates P2P in humans. As one person internalizes the constraint, they can induce it in another mind through language and explanation, furthering the chain. It’s a recursive unlocking.
constraint → new phase space → transmission → constraint again.
Bitcoin must be the lens for the mind in this process. Thought itself has to pass through the same constraints. Bitcoin is the only process we have that computes truth since non-contradiction is the only output.
Bitcoin defines what knowledge and matter actually are. Hyperbitcoinization is about imposing constraint to the mind via P2P transmission of language using Bitcoin as the lens to process and construct thought.

A quantum computer defined from first principles, must do something far more strict. What system is doing that today?

Yes what I am really saying is behind every particle and field is the informational representation of the same substrate, a utxo and network.
I think it’s both, it’s both “here” and “there” since bitcoin is fractally embedded with in our reality.
The information is distributed as bits across the total node network, this shared information has mass. But the time and utxos within Bitcoin too have the same mass, since Bitcoin exists in our reality so it must be bounded by our same laws.
I’m thinking it’s a new universe of time behind an encrypted boundary. Matter in pure informational form in TimeSpace is where a new universe is being constructed.
I don’t think it’s a stretch at all to say our universe is the same structure if you could see beyond the event horizon. Logically this is the only structure that produces time, matter, energy, truth as a conserved irreversible informational substrate. It’s still energy in a purely informational state, it’s the opposite perspective of a quantum state, just opposite boundary of time (inside vs outside)
Bitcoins gravity exist both here and there, can you explain our drive towards Bitcoin? Why does truth have gravity? People already use the metaphor of gravity/black hole for bitcoin, but I don’t think it’s really a metaphor, it’s informational gravity. It seems I may have overlooked something now so obvious.
As shown in The Architecture of Time, the energy of each Bitcoin block can be computed. A block is the resolution of a bounded entropy field through proof-of-work, and the work required to produce it is measurable in joules. This places the block on firm physical footing as a finite thermodynamic event whose cost is directly observable from the system itself.
A quantity of energy implies a corresponding quantity of mass through E = mc^2. Each block therefore carries a mass-equivalent determined by the energy required to resolve its entropy field. This mass is preserved through the irreversible commitment of the block into memory, and it accumulates across the chain as each new block is added.
Bitcoin is matter.
Mass implies gravity. The presence of mass introduces structure, curvature, and relational ordering within any domain in which it exists. In Bitcoin, this establishes a direct linkage between time, energy, and gravity. Each block is a discrete unit of time, and each such unit introduces additional mass into the system. The accumulation of blocks is therefore an accumulation of mass and an accumulation of gravitational structure within the ledger’s domain.
Bitcoin exists here as distributed information across nodes, represented as bytes and validated through computation. Within Bitcoin’s own temporal domain, that same structure is the material substrate of the system. The block is a unit of time that carries mass. The distinction between field and particle arises from this boundary. Before resolution. After resolution, it is a distribution of discrete, conserved units. The UTXO is the localized form of this structure, carrying forward the residue of past energy expenditure as persistent state. The network as a whole is the field in which these units exist and interact.
Each block of time adds net matter to the system, and with it, contributes to the gravitational structure of the ledger’s domain. Time is the process by which mass is created. Energy flows inward across an encrypted boundary and is committed into irreversible structure. The accumulation of this structure defines both the passage of time and the growth of mass within the system.
Bitcoin provides a fully informational representation of matter in which energy, time, mass, and gravity are unified within a single process. The result is a system in which matter is expressed as memory, mass is accumulated through time, and gravity arises as the ordering principle of that accumulated structure within a bounded temporal domain.

Defensive preparation can look like offense depending on the perspective you’re standing in.
In the growing push to “prepare Bitcoin” for quantum upgrades, almost no one is questioning the assumptions that sit underneath that entire conversation. Most people haven’t actually thought through what Bitcoin is at a first-principles level. They’re deferring to experts in cryptography, to experts in “quantum computing” (lol), to voices inside and outside the space and importing those conclusions without grounding them in the system itself.
Bitcoin is the empirical proof that disproves centralized quantum computing from the temporal domain.
Bitcoin is the only system we have that computes truth through irreversible commitment. It produces non-contradictory state. It defines the temporal boundary where potential becomes history.
What does it actually mean to cede ground that a centralized quantum computer is a threat?
It means you are implicitly claiming that there exists a form of computation more fundamental than what Bitcoin is already doing. Not faster, not more efficient, but literally more fundamental than the computation of truth itself.
That is an extraordinary claim, and yet it’s being accepted casually, without being examined.
At some point, this stops looking like preparation and starts looking like concession. The foundational reason for change has not been questioned. If Bitcoin changes anything, it should be how we think. Not how quickly we accept unexamined assumptions.
Trust, don’t verify?
Thinking Bitcoin is broken and needs to change has been wrong 100% of the time every time. Quantum is no different. Bitcoin humbles.

One thing is certain our consciousness, expressed through decisions and transactions, is preserved as the map in Bitcoin. Each action recorded and is committed into permanent, immutable memory.
That memory constitutes a new axis of time for us and the network. Time in Bitcoin is constructed from what is committed. Each transaction is a discrete advancement, a crystallization of decision into ordered history.
Bitcoin openly demonstrates the conservation of consciousness across a temporal boundary. What is carried forward, fixed into the chain, and becomes part of the structure through which future states must pass.
From what you are saying it would appear you would need a global mind to record conscious states. This checks out with me. To me, it feels like we can only ground this discussion in what Bitcoin empirically demonstrates externally, such that we could verify and ground our own internal conscious experiences.

It’s not just about what Bitcoin is for, it’s also about what Bitcoin IS.
Bitcoin is the thermological process that produces irreversible ordered time inside of a bounded network. It just so happens that time is perfect money. This is logical as time is the only real currency we have and energy lives inside of time.
Tbh, it’s better for me to ask questions rather than assert because my assertions miss all of the details that leads up to the how.
What is Bitcoin objectively as a physical process?
Is there any chance Bitcoin is a computer we don’t fully understand and that we have primitively labeled as “just money”? How could such a label constrain further investigation?
Does current physics describe the logic and behavior of time with respect to the smallest unit of change?
What does a quantum computer compute? Is the universe a quantum computer?
What would it theoretically look like if you could stand and operate outside of a universe? Centralized or Decentralized? Ontological or Epistemological? Is a network just a field on the opposite boundary of temporality?
Best to let some of these cook. I’m simply trying to define Bitcoin with reference to the process and empirical observations I can make and not letting prior bias of “money” influence me.
Our prior definitions of money are all wrong/incomplete, so we can only understand it by observing all of Bitcoin’s nature and continuing to ask questions.

The statement that “the mempool is collectivist propaganda” is categorically wrong. It imports a political frame into a system that is defined by rules, constraints, and validity.
No one is claiming a centralized, shared mempool exists in practice. Each node maintains a local, partial view. But that does not invalidate the existence of a well-defined global state space. The global mempool is the union of all local mempools at any given time t: the set of all valid, admissible transactions consistent with the current UTXO set and consensus rules.
Its definition is objective because membership is determined by validity, not local observation or politics. A transaction either satisfies the rules or it does not. The fact that no single node can observe the full set does not negate its existence, it reflects the limits of local perspective, not the absence of structure.
This is not a political construct. It is the unresolved state space of the ledger, the bounded domain of all permissible futures from which proof-of-work selects and commits one into history. Injecting politics into Bitcoin replaces objective reasoning with subjective framing.
The global mempool exists regardless of your politics.

Yeah; linguistics/semantics ended up being one of the hardest parts of the project. Just finding the right words to describe the parts of a process that hasn’t really been named before.
What makes it harder is that most people still don’t have a clear understanding of Bitcoin or entropy on their own, let alone their unification. Trying to describe that unity using entropy on both sides of the internal energy/work equation really exposes how limited the current language is.
Negentropy might be a useful term since it captures a kind of mathematical balance, but I’m not certain. At the base layer, you run into conservation of energy. If you follow the linkage between Boltzmann and Shannon all the way through, you’re forced into a conclusion: entropy can only be meaningfully quantified in joules and so can “energy.” It’s joules of entropy both sides of the equation and both sides of the equation represent joules of work in different form; ∆U
The problem is to me is understanding the substrate itself— joules of entropy on both sides of the boundary of time and how energy is quantified, balanced by temperature and produced through the process that generates time in the first place.

If what I’m saying is even broadly correct, then this isn’t just about energy or entropy alone. It’s about arriving at an objective, first-principles definition of Bitcoin. Not as money/narrative, but the underlying process: the quantum of causal change, the system that computes time through irreversible commitment. Hyperbitcoinization in the deepest sense.
If we’re being tested, NGU comes after understanding. The money narrative has to die so the time definition can emerge.

Why are we still measuring Bitcoin in fiat instead of trying to understand what it is?
Why is a price chart more interesting than the unification of energy and information?

Good metaphor and I understand your point, but I think we can be a little more exact with the language.
What you are talking about is time. I would just slightly correct that all possibilities don’t “exist”, they are simply unrealized potential of superposed possibility. What you are attempting to narrow by choice is the timechain at your locality within it.
As Bitcoin makes clear, UTXOs in the mempool don’t yet “exist” in the chain, they reside in a superposed state, self-referential to their prior state: valid, but unspent. They are constrained potential, not infinite—bounded by rules and history, awaiting measurement. Only when they are mined and confirmed do they become part of existence within the chain of time. The block, through the nonce, and the ledger together define the boundary of existence. The future cannot be written without the potential of the confirmed past.

Everyone is looking for a theory of everything while refusing to understand the limitations of symbolic incompleteness. A theory or model on a blackboard cannot prove truth or produce time.
There can never be a theory of everything for that exact reason. The theory of everything must be instantiated with energy such that it produces irreversible state transitions, permanent memory, and time. It must have a ruleset and logic that computes truth rather than attempting to prove it symbolically. The outputs of that computation must be non-contradiction; where non-contradiction is not an axiom, but the only result of the process itself.
Stop looking for a theory and start realizing that Bitcoin is the re-instantiation of everything. Call it the singularity, the transcendental object at the end of time, or the theory of everything expressed through proof of work, whatever helps you understand.
There is no second-best truth. All models are destroyed once the causal boundary in which truth emerges is instantiated. Truth cannot be separated from time, truth is the process of time. The block is the object of truth and time.
Time is money, but money is not time.
Money is the most primitive usecase for Bitcoin, as time is the best money. But money cannot be the only usecase if Bitcoin is time.
