This is where the Bitshala BOSS Summit 2026 tshirt has landed.
Still refining a few things, but this is pretty much it.
“Far from the noise” on the front. Full weight on the back.
This one took a stupid amount of trying.

Once I finalized on the ibex, I thought the rest would follow easily. It didn’t.
I found these stock artworks, and this top right one immediately grabbed my attention the most.

It had this presence, this force in it that everything I added around it started feeling less like support and more like interference. The other elements weren't fitting together.

Then came the spiral. I tried different type treatments, different colours, bigger BOSS, fancier bitshala, curved text, stacked text.
Some of those elements looked interesting on their own. But together, they never really felt whole. Something was always off. Mostly the harmony was consistently missing.

What finally helped was backing off and stripping things down.
Going to a single colour with shades, holding more restraint overall, and simplifying the hierarchy helped is what helped.
Here, the ibex is the personality. The text just holds the frame together.

Really enjoyed working on this one. Not because it was easy, but because it wasn’t.
A lot of false starts, a lot of unnecessary detours, a lot of “maybe this works” and then immediately no.
But that’s usually how it goes. And yet, that’s half the fun.
And lastly, added a little flag for fun. Conquer the mountainsss!

Next, opened up figma and started assembling the ideas together.
I tried a type-heavy approach first, then tried putting mountain visuals inside the text, tried a few different layouts... nothing was clicking. The text component was there but the tshirt had no soul to it.

😭😩 and then lower back pain struck so I got up, and took a break.
Walked around bitspace, ate snacks and watched a #Frieren episode where they try to catch the magical bird 'Stille.'
Somehow during that episode an insight hit... that animals and creatures are often used to represent ideas and concepts, and to draw parallels.
You can see it in bitcoin too...

These aren't just cute logos, the creature represents the nature of the work too.

After some digging, I found Yak, Ibex, and Raven to be amazing fits for the summit.
I chose the Himalayan Ibex.
It moves across terrain where most creatures can't go. Steady, patient, keeps on climbing. Small groups on difficult ground, far from the noise.
That's who bitcoin builders are too.

Back to figma now, I have discovered a better direction for the back of the tshirt!

Sooo, went back n forth on what to say on the front. Last time it was "Build what Resists. Build what Frees."

This time also, need something that feels simple at first glance but to the right person it's like "aahhaa!"
The two I have now... "Higher than the Hype" and "Far from the Noise."

'Higher than the hype' is sharp... it's a stance, it's very bitcoiny. But, I'm unsure about relating the word 'hype' with the summit. And it's overused in crypto contexts.
'Far from the noise' is little different... it isn't reacting for anything, it just is a truth about the summit and builders coming.
For context, we're literally gonna be in the himalayas, away from the all the noise. Building.
It's simple and yet speaks volumes to me.
I guess the front is locked in then!
