I don't know of any good alternative.
The only Twitter web-viewer I know of that still works is:

I haven't looked into running my own Nitter instance or creating a shadow account because I don't need to read twitter posts that bad.
My guess is Twitter shadow account (fake, single-use email + VPN) is the simplest alternative for now. Can also delete account and recreate new one with different email/VPN from time to time.

Seems legit.
It took them 1800 years to hit the first billion people, and now we're growing a billion every 10 years.

If it was created by the government, it was created to serve a specific purpose. It wouldn't change what Bitcoin is, nor does it guarantee that they're never going to want to kill it.
I mentioned this more in relation to Bitcoin being marketed as this mythical, anti-establishment technology that governments are so afraid of, which it is clearly not.
Jeff Booth presented it as governments trying to kill it because it threatens them so much.
I mentioned they are unlikely to kill it because there are more adversarial alternatives available, and it serves as a useful decoy (which is what its likely purpose was).
This of course doesn't guarantee that they're never going to want to kill it.
Still, Bitcoin has been a massive net positive for the Controllers and a massive net negative for the freedom money movement.
I am sure there are many warring factions at the lower levels, doesn't seem like it at the highest levels though.

I agree for the most part, with constraints.
If a man thinks he's a woman, then is that also reality.
As I've stated in this and many other posts ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/bitcoin-will-fail-as-mass-non-custodial ), there are better tools for the job (freedom money), so why would we handicap ourselves by using Bitcoin.
Bitcoin's design is terrible for this purpose and it was likely created by the government ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/why-i-think-the-government-created ).
Blackpilling yourself is not a solution, the solution is giving yourself the best odds to succeed.
But if one's whole identity is Bitcoin, I can see why they'd want to make it work, while ignoring better-fitted alternatives.

Haven't looked into this, but I'd assume there would be a way to get around the gold foil notes patents, and at some point you kind of have to take a stand when laws are unreasonable.

Mining pools such as MARA (USA) and F2Pool (China) have already done “OFAC-compliant“ Bitcoin mining (transaction censorship).
MARA (previously Marathon Digital Holdings) became the first North American Enterprise Miner to produce fully AML and OFAC-compliant Bitcoin.
Marathon abandoned the experiment within weeks amid industry backlash and to align with Bitcoin Core 0.21.1/Taproot signaling, saying they would validate like everyone else (no censorship).
A developer called 0xB10C caught F2Pool filtering transactions and their co-founder Chun Wang acknowledged:
- "Will disable the tx filtering patch for now, until the community reaches a more comprehensive consensus on this topic."
Chun Wang previously wrote (in a now deleted post):
- "Why do you feel surprised when I refuse to confirm transactions for those criminals, dictators and terrorists? I have every right not to confirm any transactions from Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, don’t I? Meanwhile, CZ is selling his soul for money. He deserves."
So both MARA and F2Pool have deliberately filtered OFAC-sanctioned transactions despite them having competitive fee related to all other added transactions.
Analyses of the first MARA “clean” block (height 682,170) focused on lower fees and excluded transactions. BitMEX Research noted the block contained ~0.0033 BTC less in fees than a normal maximized template would have, implying foregone revenue.
So these mining pools decided to lose fee revenue, trashed their reputation and eventually reverted to standard, non-censoring validation.
MARA is an American company while F2Pool is based in China, but somehow they’ve both done OFAC transaction censorship. I’ve already explained how this coordination works in a separate article.
The rivalry between China and the US is mostly theater, and that is one of the main reasons mining centralization is such a big problem for Bitcoin.

After Covid (the great One World Government reveal), you'd have to be delusional to think that large mining pools are not state-controlled and that "competing" states are not incentive-aligned.
The governments of the US and China want the same thing - more control over the plebs, more obedience.
The real battle is citizens vs the State, not State vs State.
Every state protects force + money issuance. At all costs. Fiat/CBDC is the control layer, not a policy choice.
The only reason Bitcoin mining looks decentralized to the average pleb is because it is allowed to look decentralized (for now).

Your article lost me at "Transactions have never been censored".
Mining pools such as MARA and F2Pool have already done “OFAC-compliant“ Bitcoin mining (transaction censorship).
It's quite simple:
- Bitcoin's mining "decentralization" lives or dies at the template layer, not at hashrate.
- As long as pools (not miners) pick transactions, the State can steer settlement via perimeter levers (power, banks, insurers, export controls, app-store rules, cloud/mempool policy).
At present, a regulator only needs to influence a few pool operators, not thousands of ASIC owners.
Does this sound decentralized or centralized.
I guess, your theory is that if censorship becomes too draconian, more mining pools will be formed and we'll have, say, 15 pools instead of 6-7 which would be more decentralized.
In theory, 15 pools would be more difficult to influence than 6-7, but would you rather have template control in the hands of thousands of ASIC owners (e.g. OCEAN-model pools), or 15 StratumV1 pools.
If it were that simple and miners were rational, not-state-controlled actors, you'd have way more than 2% of the hashrate using the OCEAN model.
The theory "if it gets bad, all participants will act in the best interest of the network because they are rational and incentivized to do so" already failed once a few weeks ago.
It is great theory if you want a false sense of security though.

Man, I like Jeff Booth, but sometimes the statements he makes are wild:

Jeff is not like the other mainstream Bitcoin salesmen, in my opinion, he gives off good guy energy.
He's actually the guy who "orange-pilled" me and I've made lots of fiat on my Bitcoin trades.
He'd probably say that if I think in fiat terms, I don't understand Bitcoin, but I think that in order to really understand Bitcoin, you also have to understand how the world works.
If you don't understand how the world works, your attempts at Game Theory are worse than useless.
The people who focus only on understanding how the protocol works are too zoomed in to see the bigger picture.
The idealistic, protocol-centric scenario is unrealistic under a One World Government this tyrannical.
So I listened to a recent Jeff Booth podcast to see if he's updated his view on certain things, but he hasn't.
It's easy to tell because all of his podcasts are really just the same 1st principles presentation.
Going back to this quote:

This of course assumes that Bitcoin is decentralized and secure.
I guess we'll have to ignore:
- 6-7 mining pools being close to 90% of the hash,
- Bitcoin Core being 80+% of the nodes,
- most retail users interacting through mobile wallets or browser extensions controlled by Apple and Google,
- increasingly more draconian on/off-ramp custody and surveillance,
- paperization practically destroying the 21M meme,
- crazy tax and regulatory frictions on payments,
- crazy Lightning Network centralization and regulation,
- significant portion of the reachable nodes being hosted on major cloud providers,
- centralized ASIC production,
- centralized out-of-the-box, noob-friendly hardware wallet production,
- etc.
Going back to this quote:
- "They can't kill Bitcoin because when they attack it, it just keeps getting stronger, so they'll try to co-opt it."
Let's assume that they can kill Bitcoin for a second.
Why in the world would they want to kill Bitcoin?
For 99% of cases, they'd rather you use Bitcoin than gold/silver, Monero or cash.
Unless you're moving tens/hundreds of millions of non-KYC Bitcoin to sponsor groups the Controllers don't like, they'd much rather you used Bitcoin than gold or cash.
As I've previously written, it is very likely Bitcoin was actually created by the government, so it makes very little sense for them to kill it in the current environment (with more adversarial alternatives available).

For most Bitcoiners, the "have they co-opted Bitcoin test" is: "Is there a new block every ~10 minutes? (tick-tock, next-block?)"
- If yes, Bitcoin = not co-opted
- If no, Bitcoin = co-opted
Of course, this is a gross oversimplification - it focuses only on the protocol, while ignoring the policy and perimeter layers.
It's like saying: "If human breathing:"

My best attempt at pointing out where Bitcoin is stronger compared to 5-10 years ago:
- more people know about it (is good and bad),
- more hashrate (although insanely centralized, so doesn't mean much),
- higher fiat price (greater incentive to defend BTC),
- more people running nodes (although ordinary user nodes are at the bottom of the food-chain),
- more client decentralization (although Core still at 80%+).
So, a more honest Bitcoin pitch:
- Hey, we've got this thing that:
- might go up in fiat terms,
- is very easy and convenient to transport across borders,
- might protect you against the Great Taking if self-custodied properly,
- is very CIA/MO$$AD, MI6-aligned, so they've got no incentive to kill it.
Think of it as a stock of a blue-chip company, but a stock you can self-custody.
So, essentially similar to a paper stock certificate of a Blue-Chip company that is Controllers-aligned (e.g. NVDA, MSFT, GOOG, AAPL, AMZN, etc.).
This is the honest pumper Bitcoin pitch.
Not - "We are about to separate money and state (... after we get permission from the state), and the Jewish bankers are pissing their pants."

1) We could just be farm animals in a simulation - basically the loosh energy theory.
Loosh energy refers to emotional or life-force energy generated from human experiences, particularly intense emotions like suffering, conflict, or worship, which some describe as being "harvested" by higher-dimensional beings.
So if the Creator of this place is a "computer programmer" of sorts, maybe this is just a very realistic simulation designed to harvest loosh energy.
2) Some form of "The Book of Enoch" could also be the case.
The Fall of Angels - the text describes the Watchers, a group of angels who descend to Earth and take human wives, leading to the birth of the Nephilim, hybrid beings that cause chaos and violence.
The Watchers also taught humanity forbidden knowledge, which led to widespread corruption and violence.
There are some theories that we are being ruled by the Watchers and the Nephilim (the offspring of these fallen angels).
3) It could also be a matter or who managed to survive the previous resets and preserve ancient knowledge/technology
If we assume that we are not the most advanced civilization in human history (which is a safe assumption IMO), imagine what advantage you'd have over ordinary plebs if you've managed to preserve pre-reset knowledge/technology.
Maybe things weren't going so great for the Controllers pre-reset, and they decided to wipe out the world (e.g. by use of Directed Energy Weapons).
If you had the technology and time and resources to plan, if executed cleanly, this would give you a massive advantage post-reset.
The current "Elites" seem to all be building bunkers for some reason. Could be to protect themselves from bombs, of course.
4) Our Controllers could also be beyond the Ice Wall
If you assume this Flat Earth map is roughly correct and there is an Ice Wall, our Controllers could be beyond the Ice Wall, so the Jews would be just the highest observable level.

It's kind of weird that all of the things that EVERY country on Earth agrees on have to do with enslaving the population - e.g. The Antarctic Treaty, fiat, vaccines.

I'd say both SoV and MoE are important.
Storing the value part needs to be decentralized and secure, otherwise, we're just doing fiat 2.0.
I like the idea of the architecture (minimal L1), but the execution is terrible.
For the vast majority of users, Bitcoin's L2s are centralized, insecure, and fully KYC'ed . For the remaining small minority, they are extremely inconvenient.
So for most, L2s are similar to using a credit card (not real Bitcoin).
Adoption of real Bitcoin as MoE hasn't materialized because the UX isn't there, usage is taxed and inconvenient, and all of the drama that comes with constant external and internal attacks.

Basically a TL;DR on how Bitcoin got captured.
We got to the point where the Bitcoin community cannot widely agree on what Bitcoin is — is it money, is it arbitrary data storage, is it digital gold, a combination, something else.
Contrary to popular belief, Bitcoin is not "inevitable" and "invincible", it's extremely fragile.
Bitcoin’s survival and adoption depend on whether its most committed users can detect, coordinate, and counter inevitable policy, market, and social attacks.
This of course doesn't work when Bitcoin's most committed users can't agree on what Bitcoin is.
As I've said many times - I am not particularly bullish on any community, but I'd be more bullish on a community that has a single goal and some courage than a community that is pulling in ten different directions.
So effectively, we have a pride of lions, but half of them got convinced that they are gorillas, switched to a vegetarian diet and died.
Then the remaining lions got attacked by a different pride and got killed.

Not sure what you're on about. I guess your point is that footguns are good.
Archeologists can date every level of ancient (and not-so-ancient) ruins as long as you exercise blind faith in the official narrative.
Probably close to 99% of mainstream history is fake, so are most of the "sciences".
Not sure what "custodial options" you are referring to since I didn't recommend any.

I don't think there was ever a chance for mass BTC adoption.
With both BTC and BSV (and to a lesser extent Monero), there are too many footguns. Too many ways for things to go wrong.
You'd have a much better chance with a retard-proof solution.
E.g. something like goldbacks (easy to verify, would be easy to produce at lower markup).

Then you face the State head-on instead of slowly getting captured with loads of plausible deniability (invisible to most).
They'd try to outlaw goldbacks, and then you either fight for your freedom or consent to slavery.
This is a binary event that is obvious to everyone, instead of a 2-3 decade-long sly, roundabout battle most people are not equipped for, or even aware of.
Something as simple as Goldbacks matches a lot of the real Bitcoin/Monero spirit at an analog, local scale:
- Privacy/fungibility: every note looks like any other; no transaction graph.
- Thin Policy: no mempool, no templates, no opcodes.
- Minimal Perimeter: you only need physical meetups and social trust, not banks or app stores.
- Anti-paperization: the “wrapper” is literally the metal; you can’t create paper claims on a Goldback without stepping back into the dematerialized system.
The big costs:
- Goldbacks don’t scale to high-value remote transactions (shipping, weight, risk).
- They’re tied to gold’s volatility vs fiat in people’s heads.
- They’re hard to integrate with digital commerce.
Then:
- For global reach and digital commerce, you’d want a Monero-ish protocol (until its inevitable capture).
- For local daily trade, a Goldback-like instrument is much closer to the ideal: low coordination tax, low digital capture surface, high expropriation resistance.
You'd want to buy most of the basic necessities locally anyway. Relying on digital commerce for everything is participating in the slave system.
Most large retailers are really just the State in drag. Buying your basic necessities from someone that hates you and wants to keep you enslaved is a risky business.
Just look at a few photos of men/women from 50-100 years ago before goy slop was mainstream. The deterioration is obvious, but not so much when you're in the moment.

I posted the most common Bitcoin misconceptions in this article ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/what-made-me-sell-most-of-my-bitcoin ).
Now, more people than ever are paying attention, so it's a good time to recap.
1) “There can only be 21M coins.”
Reality: Protocol caps base units at 21M BTC. Markets can (and already do) create synthetic claims (ETFs, futures, swaps, rehypothecated custodian balances) that exceed 21M. Price discovery then reflects claims supply, not just on-chain supply.
Implication: Paper-share ↑ ⇒ realized vol ↓; upside rallies capped; custody proof matters.
2) “Stock-to-flow proves long-term targets.”
Reality: S2F ignores synthetic supply, demand substitution (stables), and policy gating. Narrative comfort, not a pricing model.
3) “Hashrate up = security up, full stop.”
Reality: Pool control and policy clients determine censorship risk. Top pools ≈ majority of hashrate; pools, not individual miners, decide templates in most cases. DATUM/Stratum V2 are not ubiquitously enforced.
Implication: Watch pool policies, OFAC filtering, template standardization — not just hashrate charts.
4) “Miners can’t censor; the network routes around it.”
Reality: With a few pools coordinating templates/filters, effective censorship windows are feasible (delay/confiscate fees, exclude sets). Economic pressure (insurers, exchanges) makes templates converge.
Implication: Throughput is less of a limit than who writes the block template.
5) “51% attacks are unrealistic.”
Reality: A sustained double-spend is unlikely; policy-driven soft censorship via pools is very realistic and cheaper.
Implication: The live risk is transaction selection bias, not sensational double-spends.
6) “Protocol is immutable. It’s like TCP/IP.”
Reality: Consensus changes are rare, but policy-level changes (relay/size/standardness) shape what’s practically allowed.
Implication: “Immutability theater” can coexist with effective governance via defaults.
7) “User-activated soft forks prove ultimate user power.”

I don't think they can engineer Quantum to scale cheaply and reliably enough to be useful.
I think they'll just use Quantum as a threat to move BTC to a NIST-approved PQ algo and KYC almost everyone (we must know who migrated which coins, for your safety and AML).
Exchanges, custodians and large wallets will roll out PQ migration tools first. This leads to more centralization, paperization and KYC.
They might push for freezing coins for those who refuse to migrate, etc.

Yes, I've implicitly compared Bitcoin to Monero in this aritcle ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/bitcoin-will-fail-as-mass-non-custodial ).
Monero is better digital cash by a wide margin, but it's not a silver bullet.
For the current regime, privacy by default is a non-negotiable.
I'd use Monero if I need digital cash, not as a store of value.
Many Monero devs likely work for the government, some hardware wallets are very likely backdoored, government agents can decide to spam L1 until running nodes becomes annoying, they can make it radioactive so 99.99% of the population avoid it like the plague, etc.
Still, if you need to use digital cash, Monero is your best bet.
The other recommendations I've mentioned are going to be more important for most people.

It's tough. I knew most hardware wallets were backdoored and still used coldcard because - Bitcoin-only and thought that someone had already done the work and verified seeds are random.
Someone probably did verify, but then they changed their RNG algos in 2021 (I had no clue). Massive red flag in hindsight.
I am not affected, but it's a terrible way to get rugged for everyone who is.

Because privacy and fungibility by default make transactions much more difficult to track and they don't want to promote what's more difficult to track when they can promote what's safe.
Maybe look into how the travel rule works for bitcoin vs monero.
Look at how monero is treated by exchanges and regulators compared to bitcoin. It's not that complicated.
Banning p2p transactions and only allowing for ETF custody would very likely backfire so you don't see very many monero ETFs.

Very unlikely that Bitcoin ETFs could have been stopped with this design (no privacy by default and not fungible).
To make ETFs less appealing, you'd have to have a hostile to the state design (more Monero-like).
It is less likely they'd want to promote you and push you into the mainstream if you are private and fungible by default, and the community is straight up hostile to the state.

Just got debanked for the first time.
Randomly got a notification that 100K euro have been transferred from my account.
Went to the local bank, and the lady told me they've decided to close my account.
When I asked why, she told me "We don't have to give you any reason. We can just close your account.".
Told her I want to transfer my 100K euro to a different bank, and she told me that the money is no longer in my account, so she has to ask whether they'll allow me to transfer it 😂
It is a good reminder that a deposit is a loan you make to a bank.
You are an unsecured creditor of the bank, not the owner of any specific asset the bank holds.

I'd be interested in changes that (1) harden fee predictability, (2) make privacy and self-custody defaults, and (3) blunt perimeter levers.
Haven't looked much into covenants. The debate seems to be about whether Bitcoin should remain "digital gold" with minimal scripting or become a highly structured settlement system with programmable UTXO flows.
So you get massive lightning scaling, lower chain footprint, possibly better UX, massively increased protocol complexity.
I'd still want privacy by default on L1. This doesn't solve the fungibility problem. Governments/exchanges might decide to prioritize covenant-constrained coins.

If you gave me the task to "orange-pill" someone today. This is my best attempt:
1) Bitcoin might go up in fiat terms (NGU).
2) The CIA, Mo$$ad, MI6 crew really need Bitcoin because it isn't private by default, it isn't fungible, it is becoming more and more custodied by default and paperized. They certainly don't want to alienate everyone into physical gold/silver, or Monero.

Open-source is better than closed-source, but it's still one signer, one vendor trust root, one firmware/update rail, one device authenticity rail, one host workflow, etc.
Trezor does too much in my opinion. If you only rely on one vendor, a Bitcoin-only hardware wallet like Coldcard Mk4 is better.
With Trezor safe 7, in theory, the cleanest compromise path is the vendor/update trust root, and the host computer is still an attack surface.
Trezor safe 7 allows you to disable bluetooth entirely, but every added radio stack, pairing flow, mobile integration path, and battery-powered always-available featuer is more code. A single wallet should minimize surfaces, not add them.
The two secure elements mostly defend against ordinary physical extraction, but does very little against seizure while the device is already unlocked.
So in terms of potential state-grade compromise paths, mainly:
- host compromise and host-entered passphrase capture,
- malicious or coerced official update/build/signing path,
- targeted supply-chain interdiction,
- coercion/seizure,
- ecosystem phishing/social engineering through official-looking channels,
- deep hardware/fab-level subversion.

If the seed is already good, then bad on-box RNG is mostly sidestepped for address generation.
But if you literally pull BIP39 words from a bag, that is not the clean BIP39 model.
BIP39 says the mnemonic is meant to transport generated entropy, not to process user-created sentences, and the mnemonic includes checksum structure.
You can generate raw entropy off-computer, then let the offline tool convert that entropy into a valid mnemonic/checksum.
A truly random off-box seed makes you safer against compromised RNG, but it does not make the setup trustworthy unless you also solve independent verification.
You can still get compromised with address substitution at receive time, and later spending is a separate danger zone (a compromised signer can leak through nonce selection), etc.
And air-gapped only blocks ordinary network exfiltration. It does not stop a compromised box from storing secrets locally for later extraction.
So the minimum hardening move is:
- generate raw entropy off-box,
- derive the wallet on one offline machine,
- then verify the first several receive addresses on a second independent offline implementation from the same seed/path/passphrase,
- and record the descriptor/script type/derivation path/passphrase separately.
Then you know two different stacks reproduced the same addresses from the same secret.
External entropy neutralizes one class of failure - predictable seed generation. It does not neutralize the more important class - a compromised machine lying to you or copying your secrets.

It's not as simple as 'multisig', but let's assume multisig gives you immunity somehow.
A proper Multisig setup certainly makes you much harder to attack than a person who relies on one vendor (but increases the complexity of your setup).
If I had to take a guess, probably 99% of users are not going to multisig.
Bitcoin's defense can't be "let's hope users pick hard mode", otherwise, the Bitcoin revolution will amount to "have fun playing with your Bitcoins" as Trump said.

There is zero credible evidence that Quantum can be engineered to scale cheaply and reliably enough to be broadly useful, and yet most of the attention is focused on Quantum and not the very likely case that most of the main hardware wallets are backdoored.

The professor Jiang character is very interesting.
Graduated Yale university and used to work for the UN (aka the One World Government organization that sponsors child trafficking and genocide by vaccines).
