Do you not think this is the whole point? Same in the UK. Put out weak rules they know will fail so they have justification to put out stronger ones. If it's done in steps it doesn't look like such a leap. They will push for device level scanning and full VPN bans for everyone but themselves. It has been obvious from the start. But would look too too aggressive in one swoop

No you go through 2 trusted gateways not one. Think of it like tor lite. With much much better speeds. Neither end can be a middle man they would have to work together to effectively be a middle man.

They use 2 hops, rather than one. The exit node is mullvad. So it is particularly interesting to me as I use mullvad browser so in "theory" you still blend in with general mullvad VPN users, bit get an extra layer of obfuscation

Interesting. On other apps I am testing that have a podcast function allow me to find basically any podcast I would find on fountain and subscribe. I guess I had assumed this was the same I realise now it's actually for podcasts released on here. Which is also a cool feature!

This is the last ditch effort from a "leadership" who is being forced out. They have to fulfill whatever promises they made for their golden handshakes. It seems all other governments are seeking the same thing but I am praying they are smart enough to realise that our government collecting it effects their citizens' too, and they are too inept to handle it safely. The UK people NEED other governments to step in to protect their own citizens desperately, by proxy protecting them too. This is truly that moment in the movie

FYI the Mac release seems to be broken. I downloaded from your official git, it would initially not open it for security, when I bypassed that as it tried to load I got multiple error pop ups so had to uninstall

They took the piss too much for too long and got some casual push back, so they took the piss more to try to stop it. Got more push back and now we love in a country where real crime goes unpunished but talking about real crime is punished. And to cover up all the piss taking they need total control of thought and discussion

Really like the app. No denying it is a lot more polished than amber. It's just a shame iOS seems to effect nostr apps. Every app I log into using clave won't give me messages, asks my for an nsec directly. Android thankfully doesn't force that
